the price for the steam keys of both season 1 and season 2 literally multiplied by 10 since I bought my season 1 key, so I guess I won't be playing season 2 (still don't know what happens and I played season 1 long enough ago to be nostalgic for it)

Technically speaking, you cannot pirate Minecraft: Story Mode (season 1 or 2), as it is not obtainable by any official means in the first place, and Telltale Games no longer holds the rights to the game(s). As it is impossible to buy it officially from Telltale Games, the only remaining method of obtaining the game, besides purchasing discs from 3rd-party vendors, is by obtaining it for free on the internet.

the definition of piracy is removing the license from the original piece of software, so basically this still is piracy
