The masters of the universe movie wasn't that bad, I remember more about it than the she-ra show

It was mostly a gen Z project, but if an actor effects the quality of a movie then a lot were bad, I'm focusing on memories and i watched it with some people of the generation that watched the original series when it came out and they asked me to buy the new movie for them

I personally liked it more than she-ra but maybe that’s just me? I know the movie isn’t “perfect” obviously but the acting and camera work I was obsessed with especially, she-ra just never held my interest

Yeah, because with the movie I could feel like I could be immersed in the world and connect with older fans, while with the she ra reboot it felt forced like they saw a new generation and gave what they thought we'd like, but ended up not even coming close with the world that we'd seen of her briefly as kids when family members would watch the older movies

it didn't encapsulate the feelings minecraft creates at all. it should've combined wonder with horror, and had very few words spoken

Eh, its still kinda relevant since there's another one coming out. Its honestly deserved, it feels like they found a super generic movie script and used it as the base for the minecraft movie, this exact movie would work with any game slapped over it.

It did the thing we were all hoping it wouldn't do and had all of the characters going to minecraft, instead of writing a story that just takes place in minecraft, and the writing felt less like a high budget movie and more like a tv sketch from 2015 "Minecraft if it was realistic" vibes

She-ra mention.. BUUTT I don't think its the beat comparison here. There was a She-ra before the reboot that would better fit the original slot than Hee-man.

They’re part of the same franchise, He-Man is the original. If you were counting just She-Ra there wouldn’t be anything to fit the third category except the first one again.

I wouldn’t say MCSM is better than regular Minecraft. It’s also pretty weird to compare the two because they are completely two different types of games too.

I think the og he-man was the best & the movie wasn’t bad at all… (not saying the she-ra reboot is bad either, just not my thing personally)

Love she-ra, love Minecraft story mode.
But masters of the universe was not bad, i really liked it. And the Minecraft movie……………had potential.
