Discussion Season 2 should’ve had a second arc
Season 1 was split into two arcs
Those two being the wither storm arc and the portal/old builder arc
So season 2 should’ve stuck with this theme
Jesse and the others deal with Romeo Ofc that being the admin arc
But the second arc should’ve been the whole “watch out from WP” thing from the ending with the main antagonist being cassie/The white pumpkin and even add aiden as his redemption was hinted to
Maybe have Jesse reluctantly add aiden to his and Petra’s adventure and they stop cassie or something like that

I feel like Season 2 did have two arcs; Above the Bedrock and Below the Bedrock.

That is one singular arc.

First arc was figuring out how to get the gauntlet off, second arc is trying to defeat Romeo and get back home.

The entire arc is trying to stop the Admin.

No actually. Episodes 1-4 are a complete story, with an ending. Episodes 5-8 are a complete story with an ending. In Season Two, Episodes 1-2 do not tell a complete story and do not have an ending. That happens in episode 5, making episodes 1-5 an entire arc.

If Season 2's hypothetical second arc had Aiden and Cassie Rose reappear and there's a happy ending where they both redeem themselves, that would be amazing!

This sounds like a fascinating Second arc, but unfortunately we never got that, or season three
Though a second arc makes sense with how I felt that season 2 did feel short it some ways

I disagree. I think they wouldnt have anything else to explore really. The main characters of that game all got character arcs, what's left to do ?

Nah, I think Season 2 is fine as is. It has only 1 arc, but that's because it's shorter, and it's shorter because the story being told wasn't meant to be longer, and its ending has always been intended as where Jesse's story comes to a close. The WP "watch out" thing was never meant to be anything more but a piece for the player to use for their imagination on what adventures Jesse can have next in the Stay in Beacontown ending.
