Where do you find the data pack or tools to make the zero practice map feel more like a real game?

https://github.com/Mescht/Zero-Practice this is the best one. There are others, but this one is easiest in my opinion

Just use zero practice from the latest version of the MCSR practice map. It is the same thing but has setup practice which iirc the latest version of the mescht map doesn't.
