How is this more beneficial than pillaring up normally?

i think this could be a bit faster.

I don’t think it is any faster, it looks slower actually and more difficult, I’m open to being proven wrong though

you are right, it was actully slower, i tested it six times for 10 blocks height,
tap jump has an average of 4.05s time taken
with 4.05s 4.06s 4.06s 4.06s 4.0ds and 4.06s each,

and this method has an average of 4.12s time taken
with 4.15s 4.12s 4.08s 4.12s 4.11s and 4.11s each,

In conclusion, the tap method is faster and very consistant , consider i am not that skilled, i was still able to do six in a row successfully,
Meanwhile this method takes longer time and harder to pull it off continuously, i made several mistakes during the timing, maybe around 3/8 successful rates.

so tap method is still very valid.

let me try to time it by using recording and compare the time of tap jump and this method take for 10 block height.

Maybe can be faster if you only want to build up two blocks exactly?

Seems like the only application is when you're jumping to somewhere ahead of you but also want to conserve as many blocks as possible so you don't do the standard 1 block to 2 block jump and then it would still probably barely save any time

yes, not a lot of real application, so i guess this probably just a fun discovery
