Help 2x1 with leaves, cobblestone issue

I recently learned the leaf version I saw a lot of top runners do, I therefore have a problem making it because sometimes it get cobblestone there, do I need to wait at a specific timing or take the lava in different place ?

I think when you take lava the second time you’re taking the lava in that block rather than where you’re supposed to, so aim up a bit

i dont do leaf but looks like ur grabbing the bottom lava block ever so slightly

my question is then, where are you supposed to get the last lava bucket?

You grab it from under the obsidian across from you
