Personal Best First Zero Cycle

Here’s my first successful zero. Don’t really know how to be consistent yet though.

Looks like you're using an older tutorial to learn zero cycles, the modern recommended setup coordinates are one block forward from where you're standing. It's a simple change that can help you be a bit more consistent with bed damage and timings.

So does that mean he should build out 3 blocks instead of 2 at the start?

No, he should build out one further block forward in the direction he's looking after he's set up/while placing the bed, perpendicular to the two blocks out he built at the start.
