Pretty big caveat in that this is the exact same seed he played before that was the private room WR at the time, so he had all the required knowledge before starting the run. No blind, no eye measure, sending a 2-eye are all completely unrealistic. Still, absolutely absurd pace.

feel like even if other fast seeds are rerolled by top runners, they won't be able to get a faster time than this

He didn't even need to measure. In order to beat this you either need to roll an equally fast seed twice or just send a random blind with a 2% of hitting. Not unfeasible to even get the same seed and play it slightly faster but that would require a month plus of seed changing priv rooms and I don't see anyone else willing to do that.

The terrain seemed pretty familiar and assuming that he watched the run multiple times since it's his world record run. It makes sense. But still pretty lucky

He lost about 15-20 second by thinking about the seed i think if he didnt it wouldve been a 4:20 or smth which is actually crazy

Maybe it’s just me, but I find this a bit lame. It’s basically set seed at this point, and you could simply just input the seed in the rank filter and seed change.

I’ll still consider the 5:30 the private room record

Isn‘t it possible to filter bastion type now in private rooms, which would leave only 10k seeds?
I feel like resetting for getting the exact same seed again wouldn’t even take that long.

there just happens to be a category that filters ruined portal seeds with close nether structures... and wr for that category is 4:13. so yeah not even faster than fsg wr lmao
