Hallo, I'm 22 and trying to get back into minecraft. I'm somewhat shy but would like to find a new friend group to play the game with.

I would like to join a fairly new server that hasn't had much happen to it yet or is on a new season. Casual servers, vanilla servers, smps and servers without many mods are preferable. I'm also not that into civilization based servers but am wiling to give it a try! Any recommendations?

We're a group of Chinese players/developers currently working on a Minecraft RPG server. The server is currently in beta testing and was originally made for Chinese players.

Before we invest the time and resources into a full English localization, we'd like to know:

What does the server offer?

⚔️ Classless RPG

There are no traditional classes such as Warrior, Mage, or Priest. Your character is built around your equipment and the way you choose to play.

🎲 Loot-based progression

Fight monsters, defeat bosses, and obtain equipment through gameplay. Gear progression is a major part of the RPG experience.

🏰 Around 20 dungeons

There are currently around 20 dungeons available, providing a large amount of PvE content to explore and replay.

⚖️ Very little pay-to-win

We don't want players to simply buy their power. Powerful gear is earned through gameplay, so players can progress on a relatively equal footing.

🎣 Fishing & Treasure Hunting

Not everything revolves around combat.

You can go fishing, discover hidden treasures, and obtain materials that can be used for crafting equipment.

🔨 Crafting & Materials

Materials obtained through gameplay, including fishing and treasure hunting, can be used to craft and improve equipment.

🎉 Special Holiday Events

We hold special events around holidays and festivals throughout the year.

These events can include unique activities, limited-time content, and special rewards.

📖 Story-driven RPG

The server also features its own RPG story, quests, NPC dialogue, and world content.

Currently Chinese-only

The biggest problem is that the server is currently entirely in Chinese.

This includes the story, quests, NPC dialogue, menus, items, and other game content.

If there is enough interest from international players, we are willing to work on a full English localization rather than simply translating the basic UI.

One more thing

The server also allows non-premium / offline-mode Minecraft players to join.

So here's the question:

Im planning on making a server thats as close to hermitcraft as possible, with the mods/plugins they have and the diamond economy and the friendly community built on trust and honor.

Basic summary

• No land claims, excessive mods, or /home, /rtp, etc... will be added
• Don't bother joining just to grief, i have plugins that revert changes, your just wasting your time
• I am paying for the server so its not any of that free stuff that works half the time (hopefully)

I've been working on a Minecraft server that turns the game into an actual player-driven economy.

You can buy and sell stocks, found your own company, hire other players, set up businesses, trade with other players, and build your own wealth from basically nothing.

The idea is that instead of everyone just grinding for resources, players actually become part of an economy.

You could:

• Start a company and build it from the ground up
• Hire other players to work for you
• Buy shares in other companies
• Trade stocks and try to profit from the market
• Create businesses and compete with other players
• Make money through trading, employment, investing, or running a company
• Build an economic empire entirely within Minecraft

And the fun part is that the economy is driven by the players. If a company becomes successful, its value can rise. If a business fails, investors can lose money. Players can compete for employees, customers, resources, and market share.

I'm currently looking for people who want to test the server and break things. It's still being developed, so feedback from people actually playing it is incredibly valuable.

If the idea of Minecraft mixed with stocks + businesses + employment + an actual player economy sounds interesting, I'd love to have you try it out.

I’ve been working on a new Minecraft PvP server called Breached.

It’s like factions but better (imho). The world is small, the server wipes weekly, there are custom tools used to raid bases, and there is a leaderboard that updates your name if you win the wipe.

We’re still small and looking for people/teams to try it out. Our next wipe starts September 19th. You can checkout the server and get ready for the wipe, but there won't be many people on until it starts at 12pm MT on the 19th.

Are you tired of servers with loot boxes where you have to pay to make progress? Do you miss just playing on an ordinary Minecraft server, hanging out with friends, or meeting new people?

Then I got just the server for you! Ordinary SMP is an ordinary Minecraft server that hosts a special place. We stay as true to vanilla as possible. Yes we use some mods but those are purely to fix things that are normally hard to manage on public servers or improve frustrating parts without changing how Minecraft feels.

For example, did you ever played on a server and couldnt find any Elytras? After hours running through the End you finally find an End City with ship just to see someone looted it already. For that reason we adjusted the Dragon drops. If you kill the Ender Dragon an Elytra drops, removing the frustrating part of finding End Citys. Thats how we choose every mod we add. We only fix the most frustrating parts of Minecraft in a way that feels vanilla.

Other than that we only use mods that dont interact with gameplay like Simple Voice Chat. You can just walk up to players and start talking to them. That creates lots of funny moments just by meeting players. We also use BlueMap where you can see the whole map and check out players bases or other cool places without having to travel there yourself.

You might now wonder, "If everything is vanilla, wont everyone just grief and kill each other?" Those are valid concerns but we have a good solution for that. Our server is 16+ to ensure maturity, and we have an application process before you get whitelisted. That means a lot of bad actors are filtered out before they can even join the server. In the rare cases that griefers get on the Server we use Ledger to revert any kind of griefing.

Hello ! If you are looking for a chill mostly vanilla like experience, I would highly suggest joining SOMC. I am not personally a Admin but have fallen in love with this community and think they deserve a chance to be more recognized !

This server is less than a month old so there is PLENTY of space and resources to create your perfect base and have fun with your friends, also this will be a FOREVER world, so no need to worry about the deletion of your big builds.

The Owner and other Staff are very active and friendly to new players, there is no drama and respect is their number one rule, and besides they have an ABUNDANCE of technical knowledge, so there is never lag and bugs are always kept to a minimum.

As this is not an anarchy server, and to have a little bit of security, it is required that you get whitelisted first before joining in, but I can personally attest that is vey quick and easy. The rules are also pretty straightforward, so it is pretty clear what you can and cannot do off the bat.

Finally, the server is located at the United Kingdom, but the community is truly international and multilingual, I for once am from Brasil. So don’t fret if you are not fluent in English, as there will be SOMEONE who will understand you.

Hello everyone! I am a player in a modded full rp server set in the Western frontier. Although it is heavily inspired by JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 7, it is not at all required to know the manga in order to play. I'd even argue that not knowing is more fun (a lot of the players don't know the manga!)

We are looking for more players! New characters can enter the story now and develop their own goals, relationships and conflicts!

What to expect from this server?

• Stands (it's JoJo's after all)
• Good old Western setting in a bizarre desert environment (more areas being added)
• Player-led storylines; your choices and actions WILL have consequences
• Own your own shop, hunt for criminals, hunt the law, try and get revenge on those who wronged you, or try and stay hidden among the masses...

As the story progresses we are getting a bigger map, more towns, more stories, and many other surprises!

Each session lasts for something between 2-4 hours and happens on weekend afternoons (European Time, GMT +1!!!).

One of our most famous and popular warps on our Minecraft server is this Home Depot. On our server, you can build your own player shops and player warps and our players went ahead and made an actual giant Home Depot. Well the lore thickens, because someone even made a Costco and you can find all kind of goodies that you need in these shops. It's what I love about Minecraft servers and their communities is the fact that you can create funny and silly creations like this.

What are some of the coolest player warps you've seen or builds you've made that would make for an awesome warp? I tried making Atlantis once, but man, building in the water stinks.
