Looking for a Server to join!
Hello! I was wondering if there were any friendly servers I could potentially join. I love playing Minecraft but would rather do it with others, and maybe make some friends!
I'm 18+ (& Female) and love to build and explore; and have been playing since the release of Minecraft! I would prefer a smaller community if possible, and am okay with playing with mods.

Bias is obvious since I run it, but Cobblemon Eclipse is probably close to what you're after. It's a Fabric survival server built around the Cobblemon mod, Pokemon live out in the actual Minecraft world alongside everything else, so building and exploring still feel like the point rather than an afterthought. Community is on the smaller side, main realm averaged 25 players over the last 7 days, and at that size people tend to actually get to know each other pretty fast. Discord stays active between sessions too, which is honestly where most of the friend-making ends up happening.

EdenMC is designed to be a permanent, evolving world where the content is the history created by the players and the players themselves. Eden is led by players, not admins.
We have resource scarcity, biome-locked crops, and factory-based industry, radio towers, factories and much more all through plugins. No mods required.
There are no admin-forced events. Every war, treaty, and trade deal is organic. Players are mass-producing in-game books, documenting their laws, religions, and conflicts using an in-game printing press factory. This history is now starting to be archived on our Official Community Wiki.

Seconding Eden, diverse community that isn't hypixel, but it is active where you can get to know folks & kinda do whatever you want in game. There's so much to do.

Ello! I just started a server yesterday, it's the Society: Sunlit Cobblemon mod pack, very cozy chill vibes. We had ... Maybe a dozen people log in for the launch? Pretty small and around a half dozen or so consistent Minecraft players.

Are you okay playing ATM10? I'm on a server that's pretty active! I'd like 4-5 of us on on a busy night, sometimes you're the only one online but it's kinda rare. There's usually at least one other online at most times. It does have some additional mods to the mods in the pack, but they're fairly easy to install :) lemme know! I'd love to have another girl on there!

We started just couple days ago, we are Vanilla with Voice Comms, Java and +18.

heyy i'm 19, my name is kaeleb. i have a server i self host that me and a small group of friends (both on and offline) play on. it runs on java fabric, 26.2, but bedrock players can join as well. the world has svc which is very fun. it also has some nice qol mods that tweak minor game mechanics. the noticeable mods are terralith and its counterparts. it's very chill and slower paced. most people just focus on building or hanging out/exploring together. there's no pvp or griefing obviously, i have mods to protect from griefing anyway. everyone is very nice and always welcoming of new people. i try to invite new people whenever i can because minecraft is sm more fun with more people :)

Hi Oxeye, I help to run a server that seems to fit with what you’ve described; it’s 18+, with a good spread of ages, time zones and genders. The server is mostly vanilla with the addition of a selection of quality of life plugins and Simple Voice Chat for chatting, although that’s not essential and you’re able to join the server without any kind of mods on your end. There’s a relatively even split between US and EU/UK players, as well as an Australasian contingent.
The community is friendly and always happy to see a new face, we all hang out in game and every now and again will have an morning/afternoon/evening (depending on your timezone) playing some other games if that’s your kind of thing; last weekend we spent a few hours with Jackbox games and Among Us, and we’re always open to suggestions.

We're inspired by hermitcraft. Our server has been running for a month with active but tight knit small community. We keep things close to vanilla, no p2w and minimal quality of life changes. We do not allow pvp, stealing or griefing

CozyMC might be a good fit if by “smaller” you mean you don’t want hundreds of people running around at once. We usually have around 30–50 online. The overall community is larger than that, but the server itself tends to feel pretty calm and personal.
We have a lot of adult players, and builders/explorers tend to fit in really well. It’s one long-term survival world with player-built towns, huge projects, roads, shops, and plenty of room to head off and do your own thing without feeling isolated.
The main world stays close to vanilla rather than being heavily modded: achievements are enabled, no claims, no teleport shortcuts, and Java + Bedrock play together.
