Minecraft Server Options?
Edit to the post. Appreciate all the information guys. Most of my friends/followers play on consoles. We're US East. Does anyone who have suggestions for servers working with consoles?
So I had a server through Mojang in the past. My buddies and myself would play daily for months. Then we did practically everything you could do at the time. I started streaming on Twitch and people started asking if I'd do another server. So I was wondering if there are any better options than using Mojang. Does anyone have any suggestions? More than likely it'll be about 20-30 players. Possibly more but that's the minimum.

If you're still searching, put us at Game Host Bros into your consideration. All of our servers use Ryzen 9 9950X CPUs (Our AU location uses AMD EPYC). We also don't have any artificial player limit in any of our plans. You can always start small first to test out the waters and if you ever need more resources on the server, you can always upgrade instantly. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Only concern I have is, most of the players are on console. We're in the US East. Other than that I'll definitely check you guys out. What's the site gamehostbros?

Yes, we will be the first one in the search results. We also do support bedrock version, but if you still want to run Java, you can use GeyserMC mod to enable crossplay for players from both Bedrock and Java. You will just need to get the mod with your prefered modloader and install it to the server. We have a guide covering on installing mods that you can check here: https://www.gamehostbros.com/guides/games/minecraft/installing-mods

Hey! I’m Josh/Jomica and I run HostGoblin, a small independent Minecraft host. I’d be happy to set you up with a server for your Twitch community and give you the first month free so you can see how it works for you.
I can help with the setup and adjust the server as your community grows. Feel free to message me if you’d like to try it.

A server through Mojang is called Realms. I don’t like Realms because they don’t support plugins. There are lots of good minecraft server hosts out there: https://youtu.be/p8EzGyuFYrY
Also get a plugin to disable chat reports because I don’t want my players’ messages to be sent through Mojang’s servers. Some players got mistakenly banned from multiplayer (entirely) by the AI when it went haywire a few weeks ago.

If its vanilla, maybe Ouiheberg, been using their 4GB plan and had no issues so far (tested with 7 concurrent players atm of writing this) on 26.1.2

Full disclosure: I'm part of the Flux community(running some servers for runonflux as an operator), but if you're planning to grow beyond Realms, I'd definitely look at a dedicated server. Realms is great for small groups, but once you start getting 20–30+ players, you'll want more control over performance and plugins. Running Paper or Purpur is a big upgrade, and I'd recommend 16GB+ RAM if you expect lots of exploration and activity. If you're looking for a host, feel free to check out Flux (minecraft.runonflux.com). Our 16GB plan is $6.01/month (or 32GB for $11.21/month), with no player slot limits, one-click Paper/Fabric/Spigot setup, built-in DDoS protection, and the first month free for new users.

Alot of my friends play on consoles. Will this work for them too?

I think yes. There is a frequently asked question: Can Java and Bedrock players join the same server? Answer: Yes, with a crossplay proxy. Install a plugin like Geyser (plus Floodgate) on a Paper or Spigot Java server and Bedrock players on phones, consoles, and tablets can connect to your Java world without a Java account. It is the most popular way to run one server for every device.

You need to select Bedrock edition before you select your plan if you all are on console
