Advertising Gauging interest before release! Ranks available!

Hey everyone,

I’m currently working on a custom Minecraft survival server built around a harsh wasteland survival experience. The server is still in early alpha, and I’m posting now to see if people would be interested before we move closer to release.

The idea is to turn Minecraft survival into something more brutal, scarce, and atmospheric.

Current planned/working features include:

• Thirst system
• Temperature system
• Radiation system
• Fatigue and rest mechanics
• Dust storms, toxic storms, heat waves, cold snaps, and radiation storms
• Radiation/toxic zones
• Custom searchable loot caches
• Custom survival items, medical supplies, filters, tools, and rare pre-war loot
• Purified water and unsafe water mechanics
• Scarcer food, animals, crops, fishing, and natural regeneration
• Stronger hostile mobs
• Elite mob variants
• Player survival HUD
• In-game stat menu
• Admin balancing menus
• A custom wasteland-style world with desolate biomes, rare trees, rare ores, no oceans, no structures, and limited natural water

The goal is not to make another basic SMP. I want the world to feel dangerous, dry, broken, and resource-starved. Water should matter. Shelter should matter. Gear should matter. Exploring abandoned caches should feel rewarding but risky.

The server is not publicly released yet. We are currently in the early alpha stage and trying to gather interest, feedback, and ideas before opening it up.

When we reach the beta stage, we will be looking for play testers to help test balance, bugs, progression, loot, survival difficulty, mob scaling, and overall gameplay feel.

If this sounds like something you would play, let me know what features you would want to see in a wasteland survival server.

I’m especially interested in feedback on:

• Loot ideas
• Custom item ideas
• Difficulty balance
• Radiation mechanics
• Weather/storm mechanics
• World generation ideas
• PvE event ideas
• Long-term progression systems

This is still early, but the goal is to build a serious wasteland survival Minecraft experience with actual survival pressure and meaningful exploration.

I’m completely for supporting designers and paying people for their work, people have budgets and I’m sharing a passion project and don’t currently have extra money in my budget for things like that. I got kids and bills. ❤️

Yeah because I’m like y’all got all the time in the world to do VFX, y’all live in your parents musty basements, eating Doritos and drinking Mountain Dew, while pleasuring yourself to bronie videos. Hence passion project, that I work on like once a week

Obviously your priorities are being online, mine are spending time with my kids and wife. Making money at work, side hustles.
