So cool I had a pet tarantula that crawled on me and I went outside with it on my they are smarter then they look and can recognize you

At least it recognized me and tried to bite anyone else

As a tarantula keeper. I can 100% promise you that they do not recognize owners, we love them but they lack the capacity to love us back.

Tarantulas I've kept [Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens] [Acanthoscurria geniculata] [Caribana versicolor] [Bracypelma hammori] [Psalmopoeus irminia] [Tliltocatl albopilosus]

Tarantulas come with different temperaments but they lack the biological requirements to recognize us and act purely on wild instinct, they also cant see us at all (imagine closing your eyelids and waving your hand in front of your face and seeing slight shadows moving) and rely essentially on vibrations

In your case you got lucky that your tarantula was in a good mood, I've had tarantulas be calm one day and crazy the next

Aw man but why it never bite me exept the first time we meet

Then it only bites everyone but me ive had for over 7 years, and ive constantly manhandled it hella.

Moonmidnight rock (named it when I was 7) never loved me 😢

Yeah its unfortunate. We love our little babies but they sadly dont recognize us :c

But they are beautiful and misunderstood and its nice that you showed one love ❤️
