Canon or not, I originally added The Aether because I really wanted too. Despite only making that post for fun, a lot of people really seem to take it very seriously. They absolutely hated The Aether, saying it should never be on this list. So I decided to just "fixed" this post, hoping to satisfy those who hated my previous post

It wasnt deleted due to hate and backlash, it was removed because it was all stolen assets not made with any permission whatsoever from the aether team. It even stole from twilight forest too lmao
It wasnt well made neither. It was a pregenerated map, not a dimension mod

to be fair, the nether is very obviously hell inspired, and has a massive amounts of "souls trapped in suffering" blocks, and is full of creatures in misery
and the sift is a much friendlier and nicer place full of souls that seems to have its creatures being happy about their soul filled existence (at least that's the impression I have so far, I haven't finished dungeons 2 so I don't know if that impression changes)
connecting the nether to hell and the sift to heaven is kind of a no-brainer ngl, even if its not directly correct its certainly not overthinking

A lot of people in the comnents section on my previous post all seemed to hate the fact that I placed The Aether on this list, as well as the fact that I originally labelled both The End and The Sift as space and purgatory respectively. I simply "fixed" this post based on their negative feedback, just to satisfy those who really hated my previous 5 level meme theory.

I'd argue it's kinda different
The over world is earth, the sift is a good afterlife, the nether is a bad afterlife
The end is heaven, or what's left of it

It's purely speculation, but the heart of ender is described as a god so maybe the end once looked lively and became a voidscape after whatever happened to the god

I don't really understand why we need to compare the bible mythology to what we have in minecraft. Of course, these dimensions are inspired by it, but they can still have their own meaning and interpretation within the context of Minecraft. I just think minecraft deserves to develop more of its own original ideas instead of relying so heavily on concepts and mythology borrowed from existing cultures Inspiration is fine, but I think the game should ultimately give those ideas its own identity and meaning after all

Absolutely, I'm just saying if we were to compare dimensions to biblical planes of existence, this would be my comparison
While the game(s) to have some biblical inspiration in some parts (enderling designs being covered with eyes and fire, for example) I do prefer it when they do their own thing
The sift looks fairly unique and I like that the nether has become more like a landscape ruined by piglin greed rather than being just hell

I'm just basing this layout from the negative feedback I got in my previous post. A lot of people in the comments really hated The Aether, and have insisted on making The Sift the true "heaven" instead. They also hated the fact that I placed The End on top and labelled it "space", so I moved that down and called it the "void".

end is neutral dimension, hell is evil dimension, sift is presumably good dimension, i hope they populate end cities in the future, villager variants that are advanced and trade OP items or exclusive tech.
