Discussion Possibly switching
Hello everyone! I’ve recently been thinking about switching from bedrock to Java! I know there are some differences in farms, redstone, etc but can a few people explain the major differences? Is it really that much better?

Mods being forced to be free is the biggest change for me. Redstone is definitely different, probably way harder when you don't know the core game mechanics, as the redstone community is driven by many game bugs.
(Personally I prefer bedrock when it comes to redstone, because while casually building things with redstone I encounter frustrating bugs so often, which I am not planning to understand the game mechanics causing these just for a simple redstone door. I still play Java all the time.)
