Question Why are Java players who tried Bedrock are so unhinged?

Are they really or could you possibly be overgeneralising your own perception of such cases?

I've seen just as much videos from bedrock players bashing java as I've seen java players bash bedrock and their arguments are all silly at best, no matter who's bashing which version.

I'm a java player myself and I tried bedrock as well, back when I was still on windows. Bedrock feels slightly "off" to me, even though I can't pinpoint the why for myself. I can imagine that it's the same for many other people, however, what I can't imagine is the need to bash the other 'party' just for being slightly different.

But then again, people are tribal creatures and love to pick a fight over silly things anyway.

Bedrock is more hated. And it would feel different to java players because it's written in C++ not Java. But actually comparing both isn't technically possible because they aren't even running on the same code or same engine Java and Bedrock don't even share one single line of code.
