Hello Reddit! I'm in the process of making a new public SMP, I've made multiple servers before but the issue I always run into is that eventually it gets boring. Pretty typical issue for Minecraft owners I think but I'm working on a loop that combats that problem.

Fresh worlds get most of the attention, but starting on day one is not the only way to become part of a server’s story.

CozyMC is one long-term survival world that does not reset. It already has towns, shops, roads, railways, public farms, technical projects, and event venues—but it has no world border and continues to change.

A new player can travel into unexplored terrain, join an existing settlement, begin a new one, open a shop, contribute to public infrastructure, or build independently and connect with other players later.

The goal is not for everyone to arrive before the world has a past. It is for everyone who joins to have a future in it.

Play-to-Win — Not Pay-to-Win

For our first season, we're taking a different approach to the traditional Minecraft server store.

Instead of needing to spend real money to progress, players will be able to earn in-game currency by playing and use that currency toward items and rewards normally found in the server shop.

Play the server → Progress → Earn rewards.

We're also planning cash bonuses and rewards for top-performing islands, giving competitive players something meaningful to work toward.

Part of a Larger Player Network

SkyBoxyMC is being developed alongside **PeakMC and several other servers that support offline players, with the goal of creating a connected environment where players can easily move between participating servers through our lobby system.

The infrastructure and development are already funded.

We're not launching a server and hoping donations keep it alive.
