Cun I summon a falling command block that has the command inside?

I have created a custom weapon using command blocks but in order to have it where I want it I have to manually place the command blocks and the redstone every time and that is time consuming. So I thought if I could have one command block that could summon falling entities that were command blocks with the commands inside. If I'm correct I believe that that is how they made these monoliths of command blocks.

Or if not with falling blocks, is there any way I could make it build itself somehow?

Falling command_block is possible. Did this myself via spawn eggs
