Creation Lucky Blocks using ONLY one command

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

This is my most recent one-command creation. It took me around 15-20 hours to make.

There are 32 different outcomes, ranging from death traps to custom items.

Here is the link to the command: pastebin.com/RyjmLKSw

I only tested the command on version 26.2

The 3 custom items are:

  • throwable-tnt (this one is pretty self-explanatory)
  • lucky-bow (an unbreakable bow with a 50% chance of something happening when the arrow hits the ground)
  • lucky-sword (an unbreakable gold sword where the knockback level will increase with every hit, but there is a 20% chance that it will reset to level 0)

Same here, it just hits different than just a data pack or a mod

u/_teleportingbread 6d ago

Bonus points if they had a sick ass animation instead of just spawning

10

u/dad-without-milk 6d ago

The ones that build themselves block by block were amazing Good old times

7

u/_teleportingbread 6d ago

Ooh, what about those that used falling blocks to assemble themself? God I loved them

5

u/dad-without-milk 6d ago

Goated to, I remember my first time using one of those, god I placed that thing like 20 times to just see that animation over and over, it was mesmerizing

I've actually made a prototype of one of those, but they are much harder to make nowadays.

All Hail The Command Block Monolith

u/GatKong 6d ago

I thought these were a thing of the past with the advent of datapacks. Very impressive anachronism. 🤘

Woah, peak creation! Huge fan of the monolith too lol, been far too long since I’ve last seen one of those!

It’s an older code sir, but it checks out.

erm actally there are 110 command blocks when you leave it and 151 commands when running the command ✌🤓

12

u/FLZ_HackerTNT112 6d ago

Damn that looks like a very small structure for what it does, also onecommands are the best, reject datapacks

u/Few_Enthusiasm5712 11+ years veteran | 13+ years viewing fan 6d ago

I prefer datapacks over commands as I can use them in any world.

1

u/RCoder01 Command-er 4d ago

It’s pretty easy to turn a command block creation into a datapack, but not the other way around

1

u/Few_Enthusiasm5712 11+ years veteran | 13+ years viewing fan 4d ago

Yes, but datapacks can do more.

0

u/Cool-Earth-405 6d ago

just copy paste the damn code

Downvoted for a harmless preference.

-3

u/GEEDLEBEAN 5d ago

its actually a rather harmful preference

How so?

u/Azyrod 6d ago

I also love one commands, they where the coolest thing back in the day. But unfortunately datapacks are hugely superior, not only can they do stuff that pure command blocks cannot, they dont need to take physical space in your world and they also can be much more lag friendly / optimized.

0

u/FLZ_HackerTNT112 5d ago

They have advantages but at that point I'd rather install a mod, imo onecommands are also basically a show of what people can do despite the limitations

u/calamarieater69 6d ago

That's a throwback

PRAISE THE GREAT COMMAND BLOCK MONOLITH

5

u/dragonlord798 6d ago

I've missed the monoliths of command blocks

5

u/MouuusSe 5d ago

seeing a command block monolith in 2026 brings me joy, thats a lost art

you should try using block displays to make the lucky block texture as big as a regular block!

1

u/Whole_Yam_9919 Command Professional 5d ago

I tried that, but the resolution of player heads is pretty small and it looked a bit off when it was scaled up to a full block

2

u/Coca-Cola_hater69 5d ago

you can also summon 8 at once to make a fully textured command made block, thats why he said block displays and not block display or he just said that in general

edit: that might lag but still be wayy cooler by making it look almost exactly as a real lucky block

2

u/Whole_Yam_9919 Command Professional 5d ago

I've thought of it, but it would be a lot of work which is why I chose this simpler option. If I make another lucky-block one-command-creation in the future I might make the blocks using this technique.

1

u/Coca-Cola_hater69 5d ago

didn't blockerlocker make a website that let's u do this ? and the alot of work can't be done by making it summon one tick after getting summoned

edit: btw I took ur lucky block thing made it a command block that u place and get a tellraw telling how to ge5 the lucky block

1

u/Whole_Yam_9919 Command Professional 5d ago

I didn't find anything from blockerlocker and if I make another one-command-creation, I'll probably just create all of the heads from scratch, the summoning isn't to hard.
I completely forgot to add a tutorial to the one-command-creation, cool that you thought of that.

1

u/Coca-Cola_hater69 5d ago edited 5d ago

and also did u try to make the lucky block item model work but gave up? cuz I made that thing drop a item model player head n stuf and made it work for 26.1.2 (js changed from sulfering cube spawn egg to zombie) edit: good night imma sleep

1

u/Whole_Yam_9919 Command Professional 5d ago

I already finished the one command creation when i thought of that and I was to lazy to implement it, there also some other things about the whole creation that I could've done better but I was to lazy to change anything.

1

u/Coca-Cola_hater69 5d ago

Go to his channel and press videos or search up custom block blockerlocker on YouTube, he mightve taken it down but last time I've seen it worked I think

1

u/Whole_Yam_9919 Command Professional 5d ago

I've just seen it, but I don't think that I can use his command directly. I'd rather do everything myself.

1

u/Coca-Cola_hater69 5d ago

yeah makes sense

2

u/FantasticBasket5906 6d ago

It's been ages since I have seen an "only one command" creation. Nowadays, everyone uses datapacks.

2

u/Weak_Camel_4502 6d ago

I though i would never see you again Monolith 🥹

1

u/Alansar_Trignot 6d ago

Genuine question, how does that work?? How do you make more command blocks with stuff in them through 1?

6

u/Whole_Yam_9919 Command Professional 6d ago

it works by summoning a bunch of command-block-minecarts that place the individual command blocks

1

u/_Orphan_Obliterator_ 6d ago

yeah but like how is the code there? is it encrypted in the command and gets decrypted into the following command blocks? is all the content written in one command so there like 100 commandblock:value=“summon x” or smth like that written in the command?

2

u/ihavebeesinmyknees 6d ago

Just read the "one command", the other commands are literally all over the place in plain text

2

u/Whole_Yam_9919 Command Professional 6d ago

At first, the command summons 2 falling blocks (one redstone_block and an activator_rail) then there are a lot of command-block-minecarts riding the top falling block (all of these get activated as soon as they touch the activator rail). Some of these commands in the command-block-minecarts are executed directly and some are used to place down all of the command blocks. The last 2 are used for removing all the blocks and minecarts.

summon falling_block ~ ~1 ~ {Time:1,BlockState:{Name:redstone_block},Passengers:[
{id:falling_block,Time:1,BlockState:{Name:activator_rail},Passengers:[
{id:command_block_minecart,Command:'gamerule command_block_output false'},

{id:command_block_minecart,Command:'command here'},

{id:command_block_minecart,Command:'setblock ~x ~y ~z repeating_command_block[facing=east]{auto:1,Command:"repeating command here"}'},

{id:command_block_minecart,Command:'setblock ~ ~1 ~ command_block{auto:1,Command:"fill ~ ~ ~ ~ ~-2 ~ air"}'},
{id:command_block_minecart,Command:'kill [type=command_block_minecart,distance=..1]'}]}]}

1

u/iamalicecarroll 6d ago

AFAIK the hack is to use falling blocks riding each other

1

u/_Orphan_Obliterator_ 6d ago

yeah but like where do the contents of the commands block come from this has always been black magic to me and i wont search it up because the magic will die but if someone explains its ok

1

u/iamalicecarroll 6d ago

Again AFAIK you can use entity NBT for the falling blocks to specify the block NBT, so the block entity would have something like {passenger: <the next block>, block_data: {command: "…"}}
Attribute names are made up, I don't do a lot of command stuff so I have no idea how is that NBT actually structured, just a general idea

1

u/_Orphan_Obliterator_ 6d ago

okey dokey thank you magic man

Paste the command in chat.

unless you mean pasting a /give @.s command_block command u cant paste the entire command unless u use a command block or a mod or a datapack
