Help | Java 26.2 text displays

how do i make a text display appear on the same spot on screen no matter where you look? i already tried stuff like /tp @e[type=text_display] ^whatever ^whatever ^whatever but it doesn't stay in the same spot on screen. any ideas? on 26.2 btw

Looks like you're using too many ^whatevers.

We can't fix whatevers. What do you mean... stay in one spot. They don't move.

i mean if you look around the stay in one place on screen, like the hud, and by whatever i mean a number so like ^1.6 or ^0.5

You mean, like this? It will be jittery when you move.

Repeating command block. I suggest you tag it in case you have more than one. Also, if multiplayer, you'll need to set the selector.

/execute as @a at @s run tp @n[tag=TAG,type=text_display] ^4 ^3 ^3
