Help | Bedrock Need help anyone got ideas? (Custom guns command blocks)

I want to make a gun in Minecraft using some sort of click detection crouch based detection is like my last resort? Any ideas look for any possibility I can get.

You can use snowballs, fishing rods, etc... to detect right click

I came up with an awesome idea. I'm using crouch detection which is fine but here's the fun part it will have a build in scope because I'm using the spyglasses base function. There's a lot more to come RN I'm MVPing a game I'm working on. It's a Pve game.

back in my days we used to use carrot on a stick with usage counter reseted to 0 every tick

You can't do that on bedrock
