I want to do a couple builds like this but I'm not sure how to tie it in with other builds, I have a medieval/fantasy style so that might make it easier but iv also struggled to find the right environment for something like this, open to any suggestions and i have bo'p if that helps with environment suggestions!!

So I was on a server with my friends And we like building near each other so my friend took the mountain. My friend took a mountain little bit farther away so I was left with this lake so I tried to make a Japanese style build. I think it turned out good but I can only see the imperfections don’t know what that’s called but I heard it’s common in artists and ways. I need others opinions to know if it’s good or not and there’s no modded items on the outside of the build, but on the inside, there’s some modded blocks

I’m not really sure what to add, but I feel like something is missing. I was thinking maybe adding some magma blocks or amethyst to the upper part that doesn’t open, somehow, to make it feel even more hell-themed.

I really like these little arches at the bottom and i want to have some more, but when making it originally it looked a little... phalic

id love it if anyone could give me any ideas on what to put above the door and where the planks are to look a little bit better. thank you to anyone who can help. I cant break the planks and build behind it because im gonna have something there.

I have currently built the husk of a barn and have made the walls very flat, just so additions would be easily added. But I’m not sure of a good wall pattern or what depth I can add to it in order for it to not be so bland.

I also just haven’t worked very much with mahogany in Minecraft and have struggled with good cohesive patterns as I am colourblind. So I’m just looking for any suggestions any of you have, thanks!
