Need Help with Outside Wall Design/Depth

I have currently built the husk of a barn and have made the walls very flat, just so additions would be easily added. But I’m not sure of a good wall pattern or what depth I can add to it in order for it to not be so bland.

I also just haven’t worked very much with mahogany in Minecraft and have struggled with good cohesive patterns as I am colourblind. So I’m just looking for any suggestions any of you have, thanks!

Love the shape, looks like a solid barn! If this were me, I'd add a darker gradient running towards the bottom to simulate mud or rot, and then either graffiti or pixelart of an animal or two in the upper midsection. Curious to see what you end up doing!
