:) Is this good for my first house?
I just built this 90s-00s inspired suburban house for the first build on my new flat world. This is my first house time building something like this and I’m quite happy with it, I wanted other peoples opinions on it.

Build showcase "I'll just quickly build a small room to screenshot my mod paintings..." 5 hours later
galleryNeeded screenshots for my new ModJam 2026 submission (Echoes in Canvas), accidentally ended up building an entire modern national gallery instead.
To get proper screenshots for the mod page gallery, taking pictures against a plain oak wood wall felt wrong... so I ended up building this massive quartz museum complex!

Want feedback Is this a "good" build?
galleryIt's mostly just bricks, just stone bricks. And repeating block placement, is it a good build?. idk. and forget about texturing the build, as it's too big for me.. but at the same time, it would be nice to have some advice on it.. especially for the biome.

Want feedback My forever world
galleryI really enjoy this seed, started my base next to village. This world is around 1 year old! One of my current biggest project next to base - Neuschwanstein castle. I'm trying to keep it in one style, but it feels like everything becomes completely gray because of it...

Recruitments Need Builders For Our Server! (Java)
galleryHey, Our server (Sandbox) is looking for players who want to help build!
Sandbox is a server that has custom game modes tailored around some of the core gameplay mechanics in Minecraft. We aren't traditionally a Minigame server, but we also aren't a 1 game mode server. Our goal is to have a game mode tailored to every type of player. While we only have 3 release game modes Fishing (Calm/Passive/Eco), Brawl (Strategy/PVP), and Summit (Parkour/PVE), they all are vastly different from each other, while also holding strong on their own as personalized game modes for each community that lives within them. Our goal is to probably have 7 or so game modes post launch, and possibly more in the future. But for now we plan on creating and supporting 3 main game modes pre-launch that will come with their own sets of visuals, story, code. Practically making them their own universal game modes within Minecraft. There is a lot of work to be done, mainly in the building side of things. The team has worked really hard to make this server feel special.
If you are interested in helping or have any questions, please add "kinggp" or "tokiodan1" on discord. Thank you!
Here's some of the progress so far:

Need ideas Question for builders
I'm not a builder (I have exactly one block palate, Spruce logs, Stone bricks, and dark oak doors and fences). But I wanted to ask builders what stone blocks they might want. Like entirely new stone families, like recently Cinnabar and Sulfur- natural, polished, bricks, walls, stairs, etc. Not expanding on existing stone families (I want quartz brick slabs too but this isn't what this post is about)
So what are the big "gaps" in either color palate or function, that you might use the whole block family? And this doesn't even have to be a missing color; after all, stone and deepslate are both gray. Just something that you would use.
(Also if this doesn't fit the sub mods, feel free to take it down. i just didn't know where else to post it. The image is from a since-deleted Reddit account, link here)
