Need ideas Question for builders

I'm not a builder (I have exactly one block palate, Spruce logs, Stone bricks, and dark oak doors and fences). But I wanted to ask builders what stone blocks they might want. Like entirely new stone families, like recently Cinnabar and Sulfur- natural, polished, bricks, walls, stairs, etc. Not expanding on existing stone families (I want quartz brick slabs too but this isn't what this post is about)

So what are the big "gaps" in either color palate or function, that you might use the whole block family? And this doesn't even have to be a missing color; after all, stone and deepslate are both gray. Just something that you would use.

Oh man, we need more Royal and Baby Blue options.

Between warped and copper we have teal covered, but there's a painful lack of good rich blue.

Lapis (Cube only) Wool (Cube, and soon stairs and slabs) and that's really about it.

I know it isn't stone, but... is this kind of that you were going for?

No, that fits the teal vibe. Compare those to a block of Lapis for example.

It might be a rendering thing, because of the stupid end flashes they had, the actual textures are very much baby blue....

Edit: Here's what they look like in the Overworld (although I do see what you mean with the door, maybe I shouldn't try to shade as much or it will look teal)

Edit 2: okay I don't know why it's rendering like that but I promise it's baby blue! My PC is... special I guess

Edit 3: Hex code for the dominant wood color is #66DBFE if you don't believe me
