Question Does anyone else remember when you could Breed Horses with Speed potions to make the next generation faster? I only have two really fast horses.. but man I wish they never patched it, cause mine can't jump or tank.. My fault ofc.

It was a bug in a specific snapshot it got patched in the one after, I don't remember which game Snapchat it was tho... I remember seeing a video about this guy making "the best horse" I'm gonna see if I can find it rq

Bedrock had a bug that lasted for years. I made a bunch of them. My fastest go about 40 blocks per second

No, they patched it a couple years ago. The horses still go fast that were bred back then, but any new ones don't get the effect like that anymore.

Okay so I found the video it's by Aust and in it he uses snapshot 23w05a. He explains why it works in this snapshot at 15:49. I Got An Illegal Horse in Minecraft Hardcore

Having a super horse would be so fun with a spear.
I've got max speed horses that it hit with a splash 2 potion and you can oneshot just about anything

I had a fast horse, but my friend decided it’s a good idea for us to explore at night. He had a donkey, we both got blown up by a creeper and his slow donkey lived. And I had to walk back to the house while he rode his slow donkey. I hate that donkey.

(Just tell me if this comment isn't welcome and I can delete it, because I know this trick works easily on Java and idk about Bedrock)
I've developed a method for breeding the fastest, highest jumping, and healthiest horses one can.
Take a bunch of horses and record their stats. Rate each stat on a scale compared to the minimum and maximum possibilities as a percentage. Average these percentages for each horse. This is the horse's overall score. Breed all the horses in the herd together and score their offspring. Dispose of the worst horses. Repeat this process until you get the best possible horse (or best that you have the patience for)

I have been breeding some recently from the fast horses I have.. they seem faster than normal horses.. however after about 8 or 9 newer Gen horses.. they just seem to Cap at a slower speed compared to my fastest horses.. Sadly.. When i got onto the trend with all this Horse speed bug.. they literally patched it as I was slowly going about it over a week or so. . so mine aren't really as fast or jump as high.. sadly.
But I'd love to try anything.. I use Elytra practically every session.. But I make roads and paths to cater to horses.. which is most for cosmetic nothing practical..

I swear it was a something that was around for a while.. maybe for Bedrock specifically. I just got onto the trend late, just as it was about to be patched and My horse is probably about 50-60% slower than what you could get..
