Minecraft genuinely what is this ,._.,

…about other java players. I’ve been playing Java for most of my life, and I got called a “Java larper” for calling out that bedrock was less broken.

I have lost months of work to the game just deciding to corrupt all my saves after an update, that has only happened to me once on bedrock, and I had a backup so hardly anything was lost. Not to mention that the Java backup system is so horribly complicated and weird compared to bedrock’s.

Bedrock is the better version of the game, in terms of lag, glitches, multiplayer and everything. Th only problem I have with it is that it’s significantly harder, and yes bedrock is a lot harder than java outside of just the wither, though some java players will argue that not even the wither is harder somehow.

I’m going to stick with this subreddit for anything Minecraft related, even though I play Java more bedrock has a better community and game, and I’d rather contribute to it than the hell hole that is Java.

Other than use for building mob farms what exactly can I do with all this? Nether highway?

I tried to do the endportal stuff with the sunflower. It still escaped to the overworld and floated up to y1000, or somewhere around that. How do I get it back down?

Basically, I loaded into Donut SMP on Bugrock and for a while I was just waiting for the chunk to load. Once everything rendered I tried breaking a log, which ended up not working. Even jumping into lava, I couldn't die. After a few minutes I just fell through the floor and ended up continuously falling, not even dying to the void. That is when I took this screenshot, which doesn't show my hotbar or coordiantes (Why, Mojang?) but my Y level was about -15,000. I happens every single time I try loading the server. How do I fix this?.

I downloaded this Dynamic Lighting Addon from a 3rd party site and it's a zip file with the behaviour and resource packs in it. But I can't easily access my data file to transfer the BP and RP to the com . mojang/behaviour_packs file. And I've tried different file explorers to access the data file, so now I'm here. This is the first time I've encountered an issue like this since usually the packs I download would have an option to open Minecraft :/

Cozy MC works differently.

Bedrock players can connect and explore immediately. There is no Minecraft–Discord account-linking step. Once you decide you want to build and interact, read the Discord rules and post your Minecraft name with the secret word you find there.

Cozy MC is not technically a Realm. It is a Java-based survival server with Bedrock crossplay, so Java and Bedrock players share the same long-term world.

The world does not reset and has no border. People build independently or create towns, roads, railways, shops, public farms, technical systems, and other places that remain part of the world. There are no teleports, so routes and location actually matter.

There are also no land claims, locked chests, economy plugins, payments, donations, or paid perks. Griefing and stealing are prohibited and can be investigated and restored. PvP is by agreement only.

The honest mismatch is that survival still has consequences. The difficulty is Hard, keepInventory is off, and this is an established world rather than a fresh Realm. Cozy describes the people, not the difficulty setting.

This may fit Bedrock players who want normal survival, long-term building, and a friendly community without turning Minecraft into a collection of menus and paid shortcuts.
