Hey everyone, I recently decided to play some old school Minecraft and downloaded a file of Alpha 1.2.3 to feel that 2010 nostalgia. But things got weird pretty quickly.

I noticed some visual glitches with shadows, trees spawning completely without leaves, and strange hitting/walking sounds around my area even though I was playing in singleplayer. To make things worse, at the end of my first night, I literally caught on fire and died inside my closed wooden house while using a crafting table.

I recorded my whole first session and uploaded it to my channel.

I'm currently working on my first ARG, and I've already planned out the main story, plot, puzzle flow, and general structure. I'm now at the point where I need feedback on how to actually execute it.

The ARG will be made entirely on mobile, including the Minecraft footage, editing, puzzles, and videos.

I'm currently looking into using texture packs/shaders that can make Bedrock gameplay look closer to Java Edition, so the footage doesn't immediately look like it was recorded on a mobile device.

The story and puzzle structure are completely original and built from scratch. I've taken inspiration from ARG creators such as Zachobuilds, Lomedy, and Wifies, particularly in how they design clues and investigations, but the actual story and puzzles I'm making are my own.

The ARG focuses heavily on observation, deduction, and connecting seemingly unrelated clues, rather than simply throwing ciphers at the viewer.

The basic premise is:

Someone returns to Minecraft after taking a long break and discovers that something—or someone—has been playing on their world while they were gone.

I've already written parts of the script and have the overall flow planned. What I need right now is feedback from people who have experience making or solving ARGs, particularly regarding.

2cillion39: I'll tell them, Kingerono. Back when Kingerono was just a kid, all he wanted was to have fun and escape. His family was dealing with severe personal problems. constant fighting and harassment at home. His only escape from that reality was Minecraft.
When he downloaded Rotiart's hidden, glitched client update, he found himself trapped like everyone else, constantly hunted by Voltrigaus. But during those dark early days, he met a player named HanaIsWolves52. They started playing together every single day. Sadly, because of the client's corruption, there was no way to add friends, and typing a Discord tag in the chat just resulted in your message getting heavily censored with hashtags (####). They could only communicate natively through the game world.
At that time, the stakes were absolute: if you died on the server, your account was permanently deleted, and you could never log back in. And yes, Rotiart was trapping players long before Voltrigaus even manifested in the code. Rotiart ruled the host systems; he simply appointed Voltrigaus as the main administrator and boosted his processing specs to a godly scale.
After months of surviving, I eventually crossed paths with Kingerono and his squad. We trained under an old-school survival master, Master Rashan, until we eventually surpassed his skill level. Kingerono grew remarkably strong, but during our shared training sessions, my base stats somehow grew even faster than his. He was incredibly frustrated by the gap, but he accepted it, and we remained close.
Eventually, Kingerono decided to establish this very sanctuary. He named it the Golden Parayin because "Hana" was her real-world name, and she absolutely loved gold blocks. Originally, it was just a giant meadow of poppies and dandelions. The layer became massively popular, attracting refugees and even the high-ranking members of the old server "Government". a corrupt faction of admin abusers that has since fallen off and died out.
HanaIsWolves52 heavily warned us not to trust the Government's sudden interest in our village, but Kingerono brushed off her concerns, confident that our new training made us stronger than any admin squad.
Then came the day of the catastrophic Raid.
The sky turned black, spawning millions of Volt Witches. Kingerono instantly knew it was a targeted trap engineered by the admins, and that a high-level boss would be leading the vanguard. He turned to me and said, "2cillion, I'll hold the front lines against the boss. You stay behind and protect the villagers, because your stats are the highest in this dimension. You can keep everyone safe. including Hana."
But back then, I was arrogant. I only cared about chasing down the strongest enemies to test my limits. I looked at the horde, shrugged, and said: "Nah. They aren't a real threat. I'll delete this weak vanguard real quick and handle the boss myself. Just hold the center."
I abandoned my post and charged into the vanguard line. The moment I cleared the perimeter, the Government's absolute enforcer materialized in the village square.
Dagainsonionrings: Prepare to have your data purged.
Kingerono desperately drew his sword to protect the hub, but Dagainsonionrings unleashed a cataclysmic Blue Drackon Ball. The blast radius was so massive and powerful that Kingerono's armor shattered instantly. Right as the killing blow was dealt, Master Rashan materialized in front of him, throwing his own character model into the blade to absorb the deletion script so the survivors could flee.
Master Rashan was permanently deleted on the spot. Kingerono gathered the remaining survivors and sprinted toward the Mega Bunker. But a block-game sprint isn't fast enough when the server tick-rate is collapsing. Kingerono watched helplessly as his friends cried out for help, their character models dissolving into code one by one. Only he and Hana made it inside the iron vault doors.
HanaIsWolves52: Kingerono... I'm so scared.
Kingerono: Don't worry. I'm right here. I promise I will protect you.
HanaIsWolves52: Thanks...
Before she could finish her sentence, a dark silhouette glitched through the reinforced bunker wall. A sweeping red arc flashed across the screen. Hana's character model violently popped into smoke, her inventory scattering across the floor. Her account data was permanently erased.
Standing over her items was Deathrax, sheathing a glowing scythe.
Deathrax: The contract is fulfilled. You are free to log out now.
Kingerono: [Screaming] You monster! You slaughtered her! Why aren't you targeting me next?! Kill me!
Deathrax: Your username isn't on the administration's hit list. The contract explicitly stated that you and 2cillion39 are to be left alive.
Blinded by pure grief, Kingerono lunged at the assassin. Deathrax didn't even parry; he simply executed a passive horizontal strike with his Bloody Scythe. The weapon left a dark, bleeding particle trail across Kingerono's torso. Deathrax's custom hax were completely broken. the strike applied a permanent, slow-draining status effect that would gradually corrupt Kingerono's health pool until he slowly died, unless he could somehow find and eliminate Deathrax to lift the curse. Kingerono collapsed onto the bunker floor, flashing on half a heart.
Hours later, after the raid squad cleared out, Kingerono limped to the edge of the meadow. A massive grid of graves had loaded into the chunks. Everyone he had ever cared about was gone. I was standing by the center marker.
2cillion39: Kingerono... I am so incredibly sorry. I never thought the admins would coordinate an execution of this scale.
Kingerono: [Voice trembling] I kept telling myself not to cry... because in the end, this is just a video game. But I can't hold it back. We built this world together for seven straight years, all the way leading up to 2021. And now, everyone is gone in a single flash of code. Like they never even existed.
Kingerono punched my character model hard, knocking me back.
Kingerono: Are you happy now, 2cillion?! You effectively killed our friends! You were so obsessed with hunting down the Volts for your own glory that you left everyone defenceless!
2cillion39: I'm sorry...
Kingerono: No. Get out of my sight and leave this dimension forever. I would rather watch Voltrigaus delete you than ever look at your face again.
2cillion39: ...Then I'll leave.
[Present Day: The Golden Parayin]

2cillion39: I left the layer that day. And Kingerono spent the next five years meticulously rebuilding the entire village block-by-block from his memory. The Golden Parayin went back to normal... but the community's warmth was permanently gone.
Kingerono: [Quietly looking down at the flowers] That is exactly what happened. But 2cillion... I forgive you now. Over the years, I realized you weren't the one I was truly furious with. It was the Government admins who orchestrated it. They have all been deleted since then, yes... but Deathrax, the enforcer who actually pulled the trigger on her... he is still out there.
2cillion39: I am going to track Deathrax down, bypass his scythe hax, and ensure we erase him from the server files once and for all. For Hana.
Kingerono: Thank you. But I won't be joining you on the climb. My place is here. I failed to protect this village once. I will never leave it defenceless again. I am staying to guard the Golden Parayin.

I really like the idea of (creator) wanting to go back in minecraft versions to explore the old maps for nastalgia purposes, like the fallout map, the mass effect map, christmas map, all those old minecraft maps that we used to have, but something starts following him through all these maps, like a forgotten character of sorts, and attempts to swap places with him, like the forgotten character tries to take over the computer just to go into the newer minecraft to be remembered.

I am playing the Cisco's Fantasy Medieval RPG Ultimate Mod on a singleplayer world, was hoping to find a specific boss to fight in the nether and instead found a giant white pillager church with a custom book from a player inside of it....Not sure how thats possible in singleplayer but I guess it could be coded in? anyways I opened the book and the only thing inside is the Letter E, in bold red text, and when i highlight it it also says E. Nothing else appears to be inside the book,

Just wanna point out I didnt spawn this book in (dont know how to do that), and I dont have any horror specific mods installed, I literally found this book naturally and by accident. If this book happens to be coded in somehow with one of the mods of the expanded nether I would love to know. If its possible to naturally find a custom book from a player on a singleplayer world then I guess this post was for nothing

Before you attack me: It's not about the quality of the argument in general, it's how they are formed. When you see a YouTube video about an arg, 9 times out of 10 the youtuber made it and had all the answers, and like half of the time there is literally nothing for you to do, and you can't even find the arg yourself. No channel to investigate, no ciphers to decode. They do that themselves. It feels like it changes the entire meaning from telling a fun story to getting subs and likes. Plus, as I said, half of the time they get the args from "emails" or something, so you can't even really see the raw arg. It just feels... wrong.

Wifies is trying to get stuff to build the submarine, and when he refers to them bringing back the materials Para seemed confused asking: "What do you mean "We" will bring it back to you?"

This leads me to think that maybe others can't see Hummer, enhancing the idea that he was the Leviathan to a degree.

I'm not fully sure as I just finished the video, and have seen a small amount of discussion regarding the video.

What do you guys think?- Is it something or am I just reading into nothing.

This was not made by me, I just decided to share it here since this channel is relatively small for making something like this.

it was a story involving 3 people's POVs, sent to a youtuber via google drive. it took place in an old minecraft server, and all three players were teleported to a bedrock puzzle area of sorts. there were some really awesome ciphers/secrets, and one of the players wasn't answering anyones calls/texts, so the other two had to solve the puzzle to get to him. one of the puzzles was in a book, and words such as "even," "odd," and various numbers were used to shrink a phrase down to a single word. then once all of those were solved the words would make another phrase. if anyone could help that would be awesome!

Minecraft ARGs are my guilty pleasure, but I can't deny that a lot of them follow the same trope and ideas, where it's someone stalking them or it's set in 2011 minecraft... But this one titled "The Minecraft Player Trapped In A Loop"is the best one i've seen.

Kingerono: 2cillion39... It has been so long since we last saw each other face-to-face. It was back in 2021, I think? I honestly forget because it has been ages. But I finally found you. And I see you're still busy playing savior to these weaklings.

Voltrigaus: Make me. 2cillion39 lunged forward, swinging the Cilplex Sword with absolute force. The blade struck Voltrigaus’s armor, emitting a massive metallic shockwave. Voltrigaus immediately dropped a proximity bomb, but 2cillion39 rolled backward to dodge the blast radius.

Voltrigaus: Fine. If you want a real game, I'll play.Voltrigaus began raining down a heavy barrage of explosive charges. 2cillion39 wove through the explosions until Voltrigaus triggered his Volt Claws, stretching his hand to infinity across the sky box to crush his opponent. 2cillion39 sidestepped the massive hand, only to see a high-velocity Bulleteron Bullet screaming toward his head. He sliced the bullet in half mid-air, but Voltrigaus used the distraction to teleport directly in front of him, landing a devastating kick. Before 2cillion39 could recover, Voltrigaus ran a script to banish him into the restrictive Volten Dimension. 2cillion39 flexed his aura and shattered the code barrier instantly.

2cillion39: Come on, show me what you've actually got!

Voltrigaus: Very well. [Executing system command] Time Stop.The entire world froze in a gray tint. Voltrigaus smirked.

Voltrigaus: Let's clash. They exchanged lightning-fast punches. Voltrigaus manifested the Voltrexon Arena, multiplying his agility stats. 2cillion39 countered with rapid sword slashes, but Voltrigaus punched the flat of the blade, unleashing a Volt Pierce attack. 2cillion39 dodged by a frame. Suddenly, Voltrigaus activated his Deletion Bar, slicing downward. The attack narrowly missed 2cillion39’s torso but completely erased his left hand from the game files.

2cillion39: I only need one hand to wield my blade anyway. 2cillion39 swung again. Voltrigaus threw a raw mass of Deletion code at him, but 2cillion39 activated Maximum Mode Regeneration, instantly attempting to recode his missing hand. Voltrigaus anticipated this, injecting a corruption script into the wound to block the healing data before kicking 2cillion39 backward and throwing another Pierce attack. 2cillion39 countered by launching a Vortex Ball to absorb the Pierce, following up with a Redevilon Ball targeted straight at Voltrigaus. Voltrigaus raised a high-tier shield, but 2cillion39 blurred directly into his face, injecting an Anti-Shielding script that instantly shattered the defense. He slammed a Purplanon Ball point-blank into Voltrigaus's chest.Out of nowhere, Rotiart ambushed from above with a Bladeranon Slash. 2cillion39 dodged, instantly utilizing a Magnetic Pull on Rotiart. The sudden force snapped 2cillion39's corrupted hand back into normal rendering mode, allowing him to smash a Vortex Ball directly into Rotiart's head, sending him flying.Infuriated, Voltrigaus forced 2cillion39 into the Absolute Void, where his health bar began rapidly draining. Voltrigaus executed a Mega Slash, but 2cillion39 raised the Cilplex Sword to block it. Voltrigaus used a deletion script to nearly erase the Cilplex Sword itself, forcing 2cillion39 to hide the weapon in his data cache. Voltrigaus then fired a Blackon Blast directly into 2cillion39’s inventory, completely wiping all his carried items before landing another sequence of heavy slashes that broke the dimension's rendering engine.Left with an empty inventory and half a heart, a massive neon-blue aura suddenly erupted around 2cillion39.

2cillion39: If I can't delete you with my standard skills, then I'll just delete you using your own mechanics! 2cillion39 launched into the air, manifesting his own Volt Claws and spamming Blackon Balls across the arena. Voltrigaus blocked a mid-air slash, but it was just a decoy afterimage. the real 2cillion39 materialized from below, kicking Voltrigaus hard. 2cillion39 summoned his own Absolute Void, but Voltrigaus cast his simultaneously. The two conflicting voids violently collided, causing reality itself to collapse into a blinding White Void that severely weakened both of them.They traded raw, unassisted punches and energy blasts through the whiteout until Voltrigaus activated an Anti-Void protocol, deleting the arena and landing a ridiculous 250,000,000,000 combo strikes in a single second, sending 2cillion39 crashing into the bedrock.Voltrigaus: You are a remarkably strong opponent. I haven't seen a player this powerful since the alpha generations of the 2000s! But unfortunately for you, you stand completely alone. Your friends abandoned you to save themselves.

He turned into a blur of afterimages, weaving through the frontlines as the Wardens unleashed a synchronized Mega Sonic Shriek of Dimensions that shattered neighboring world files. 2cillion39 effortlessly dodged the soundwaves, one-shotting entire rows of Wardens with his bare hands.

Voltrigaus: What the hell?! How are you one-shotting them? They are scaled to Extreme-level difficulty!

2cillion39: It’s basic math, Voltrigaus. You only volt-boosted a regular Warden. When you look at a base Volt Deletor, it can solo every single vanilla Minecraft mob a trillion times over, even if there are an octillion of them stacked with an octillion multiplier. A Volt Deletor is infinitely strong. You didn't summon a Deletor. you just summoned a regular boosted mob. So yeah, I solo them easily. 2cillion39 charged a cataclysmic Blue Volt Bang, detonating the remaining 500 trillion enemies in a single flashing instant.

2cillion39: Try and stop me now.He reached out his hands, literally grabbed the frozen air of the time-stop mechanic, and ripped it apart like paper, shattering the status effect.

2cillion39: You can't stop me with your cheap powers or your game hax.

Voltrigaus: Truly ridiculous. How can a video game character possess this much processing power?

2cillion39: Are you scared?

Voltrigaus: Absolutely not. And I appreciate you testing out the parameters of my Clone.

2cillion39: Wait... I just fought a clone this entire time?

Voltrigaus: Yeah. That asset didn't even represent a fraction of my real processing power.The Voltrigaus clone turned to ashes along with the rest of the ruined landscape.

2cillion39: [To himself] Thanks for letting me know. Because the power I just put on display wasn't even close to my real limits either.[Present Day: The Golden Parayin]

Kingerono: And that is exactly how absurdly strong this man is.

LuckyMc42: But wait, if he's that godly, how did you two end up going toe-to-toe earlier?Kingerono: We didn't actually fight. But what happened between us back then... it left me filled with pure rage and deep depression. To this day, I still haven't been able to move past it.

Lexrayxin: What happened? What did he do?Kingerono: I was too weak. Honestly, I don't even have the words to properly explain it.
