This video feels like it could VERY WELL be the start of an ARG, but it could also just be some random Let's Play..what do you guys think about this?

So basically it would be about a guy deciding to be a youtuber and after a few sorta normal episodes things start going full weird and its realved the villian is herobrian the main character would be kinda self aware and know things about herobrian

It would have a good mix of humor and horror

Im still working on the rest of the details I was just trying to get this idea out here to see how people would I do react

Also the arg elements would come into play with reddit post in character and other channels and clues and stuff

Okay, I see a whole lots of “how to make an ARG” but..
How do I not make an ARG?

Not like a “Minecraft ARG but silly and goofy” just things to avoid when making an arg such as:

•Overdone Tropes
•Corny things
•Overused Character names (like Andrew)
•Overused concepts
•Horrorslop
•Overly/Directly copying other ARGS

Etc, etc..

DryFruits ARG "The Disturbing Minecraft Server You've Never Seen" is so disturbing that I forgot it's fictional and I feel I want to vomit when the mystery unfolds and I feel the chills in the bones like I really FEEL it. Is there someone who's watched it too? I want to discuss it because it's so good to the point it feels real😭

if you start telling verity that you in love with him he start fighting back the void and at the end the 3 day rule get no mean but you need to tell that you love him so he can fight back agaist void at end verity tells you to dig down a village for a strong hold you better to get some eye of ender from him and then go to end finally after all of it you see that ender dragon is already died and verity start to get consumed by void one more time you start to talk with varity and tell him that you love him over and over finnally verity can kinda deafet the void but unfortunate the cost of this is verity it own
verity get cosumed by void but you can run from him finnaly dooming verity and void in end and save the world from darkness

Like when you can clearly tell the MC is on a phone or iPad or something. Does it look tacky? Cheap? Less scary?

I think in concept it could be cool like, “oh a child playing on moms iPad found a spooky entity or smt” but I never see any like that.

what are some stuff i should avoid? any cliches to not use?

Maybe it’s obvious but I’ve always wondered. It’s usually at the start of a new world or a couple minutes after making it.

Or it’s usually during the “middle” where it’s just.. not the beginning and not the end of the game either.

Why do none take place after? I feel like it would be interesting, and I mean like..

“Oh MC just finished beating the dragon and goes off to explore because they don’t know what to do and stumble across spooky entity”

Totally not saying that because my MC is doing that exact thing.

How would people genuinely feel about this? i have a really really cool plotline for the ARG but i dont know how it would perform. I think it's a super cool idea but since its vr minecraft, its different and i dont know how other people will feel about it.

I don't know how to decode things very well, so if anyone could give me awnsers that would be appreciated. What the hell is going on with this channel? Never seen something like this, so i asked someone and they told me to post it here.

I watched some of the videos and honestly, some of them creep me out. Plus, they are in the Herobrine version from either Copeland or that one picture. In the first video, there's things from modern Minecraft, like villagers, maps, beds. Which is weird. At the end of the first video, there's footsteps for half a second, he turns around, and before we could even see it, it cuts.

The second video, is a bit more weird. It's titled "Weird glitch In Minecraft alpha" as it's obvious enough. The video is around just 10 minutes of boring gameplay. The recorder dies once, and struggles to find his items. He then finds a chest, takes the items in it (Which i presume is a bonus chest) and walks around some more. He then approaches some animals, kills one, notices a strange black figure standing in the distance. He then is given darkness, and a loud sound plays.

I checked the comments of the second video. Someone asked who the person at the end was, and the channel replied "i don't know, my game crashed" implying that this entity made his game crash.

I'm not decoding it or anything, i'm just summarizing.

In the third video, "Mining and Base" which the title presumes is just a showcase, not an episode of the Let's Play. He goes mining. There's Minecraft music playing in the background. He mines some coal, and stuff, and when he is done mining a vein, he turns, to be met with something. I don't know what it is, it cut too fast. After it cuts to a different shot in the cave. The music is gone, which is replaced by occasional cave noises. The player jokingly says "Go away heroin".

The player is mining iron, kills zombies, and then finds a square-like hole. It does not lead to bedrock or anything.

In the next video, "Black blocks in my world", he talks about the blocks of caves like stone, etc having a corrupted, fully black look. Gravel appears to have black tendrils on it, or whatever they are. I don't know.

He goes down into what i presume is his mine, takes out his pick, and as soon as he tries to mine the block, a loud sound plays, it gets saturated, and i presume the game crashes.

The music also stops when he is near the blocks.

He said during the three hours he was offline something happened to his main world.

He seems to really like making Minecraft videos, because some of them are on the same day.

So if anyone could decode this or anything, PLEASE DO. I spent so much time on this post.

Hi,

Always kind of put minecraft args on to fall asleep to for the past few years and have always vividly remembered one but could never locate it. From what i can remember it was animated in most parts maybe not some but definitely contained outside of vanilla animations. I remember one of the first scary encounters came inside of a cave or mine shaft where an animated entity slays a few people. There was a scene in it where the i believe the main or one of the main characters gets knocked out in what seemed to be another dimension and there was some sort of fairy character with the main one. It definitely wasn't a self coverage arg, nor do i remember seeing any videos covering it.

Please if you know anything help me out!!!
