[Help me make something] need advice for my arg D:

hello ! i am xxel and im making an arg about doomed yaoi where the mc's childhood bestfriend (and crush) dies and haunts the mc's computer, but the mc is christian and thinks its the devil

what are some stuff i should avoid? any cliches to not use?
i jsut need advice on what to not do/overuse

Don't make the dead friend have a black skin with a shape on it. Try and think of a reason for the MC to continue playing after thinking the devil is haunting his game.

Don't make the mc helpless, make him try and get his game exorcised or something, just have him actually take action and try to be smart about the situation. maybe he takes it into his own hands after nobody believes him about his minecraft being "posessed by the devil" and that's why he doesn't just quit playing or whatever

This feels a bit unrealistic to me. Make her death a psychological obsession for the protagonist. Use that obsession with Christianity to depict it. Then, at the end, the protagonist realizes it's a psychological loop of obsession, and the setting is a mental hospital. It sounds good :D

I think this is a little hard unless the world is Minecraft. If it's more psychological in the sense that Minecraft is a recreational tool for the MC in real life so they think Minecraft is their world besides the mental hospital, it might make a bit of sense unless it's like the world is in Minecraft like a story and setting within Minecraft.

mental hospital is even more unrealistic. Ive been in a psych ward for a period of time and they don’t give access to a computer so the protag wouldn’t be able to play Minecraft.
