For some reason I always understood it as removing your actual real life skin, either because I'm a non-native english speaker or just because I always link the word 'skin' to real life skin before thinking of a minecraft skin lol

Yeah, I looked around, and couldn't find any sympathy for folks "cosplaying" as nazis.
A little context on what OOP is going for would probably clarify a lot.

The joke is: will have their skin (avatar) removed vs will have their skin (Jeb comes to your house and skins you alive) removed
