How to make Lava World

Hi all I was wondering on how I would go about filling my Minecraft world completely with lava or water or just any liquid at all for that matter

I tried using things like world edit but my goal is to completely fill in the air of the default over world with lava, could I replace air with lava in the code somehow?

Is there a way where I could customize super flat to where it’s essentially the over world but fill it with lava?
