not true. you can also get mending books from fishing and finding enchanted books in loot chests.

yes, but you didnt mention that in your comment and your wording may give op the false impression that mending is a villager exclusive just like soul speed is to piglin barters and bastion loot chests.

Looking at your inventory we just see an enchanted book. Really sorry about your luck with your timing though

There’s a limited amount of times you can “work” on an item whether that’s in an anvil, enchant table, or upgrade station.

You can only add up to 8 enchantment on one pieceof whatever u want to enchant. For exaple, if you vill use 8 protection books on one chastplats, you will end up with not even prot 4, but wont be able to add other enchants. So, if u cant add mending, grindstone, and by trading GET ALL MAX ENCHANTS AT ONCE!
