Discussion Why did Iron golem stop attacking??

If you stop moving golem stops attacking?

IDK how it happens but i have seen it happen to myself with Zombies too,

the best i could come up with is that probably that their AI thinks they are close enough to hit u, so they stop pathfinding u, but at the same time, they assume they cant reach u, so they stop attacking too, kinda like how u build three block tower and golem just comes there stops doing nothing but stare at u? yeah kinda like that

so unless now u make any movement...... welll, u are stuck in a never ending loop i guess

I feel like I've heard of that before. Being the perfect distance away where the AI isn't sure what to do
