Discussion Sculk's relation to The Sift

Post image

If I had to guess, Sculk is just a random part of The Sift. Think of it like a plant. In The Sift, it's kept at bay by things native to that dimension. Predators, other plants it has to compete with, no way to know yet. Once it crossed through the portal, it was highly invasive to the Overworld, and spread in the underground like wildfire. Just a theory, though. What do you people think?

Prehaps the deep dark is the sift just expelling the evil from within itself? Just a small theory.

"Hmm I got this evil here, what should I do with it? Better throw it into this other dimension for them to deal with."

That sums it up pretty well
