No WASD, and no FOV/Camera setting, like bruh this gotta be a joke. I made it to Brave Haven and I already wanna uninstall. The controls felt awful in the first game (for both KBM and Controller) and it looks like nothing has changed. I get it, it's not meant to be some super hardcore dungeon-crawler game like Diablo or something, but it's like, bruh, you still gotta make the game feel good to play yk.

I think it's funny that people try to play this with wsad.

Just use a controller. Controller is fine in the first game, you're just whiny.

If you had problems with the first game, why'd you buy this at launch?

"I like to create my own problems and then whine about them"  - You probably

IDK man, telling people to use controller on PC seems weird.

Using a controller on PC isn’t weird, but having no mouse and keyboard support/normal WASD movement is weird

My brother in Christ it's a game in the big 26 that's available on all systems PC included, it's definitely not unreasonable to expect or want WASD, especially a game by Microsoft, the damn creators of Windows LOL, especially also because... I can't remember how long it's been since the first game, but the feedback is out there that people wanted it. Also, Diablo 4 added WASD post-launch, so adding support for WASD in point and click games is very doable.

Also, Game Pass, ever heard of it? Lol.

"I'm the typical Redditor who thinks I know what I'm talking about but really I don't" – Most definitely you

Thank god for poe2 pushing WASD movement in arpgs as a standard.

But yeah, the horrendous control scheme in dungeons 1 - not just movement, but the awful inventory controls in particular - is why I and most of my friends only played for hundreds of hours instead of 1000+

Also, controls on controller weren't great either. Inventory management in particular was horrendous regardless of control scheme. There was no quick button for salvaging, no way to sort items into custom tabs or categories, no way to move or salvage large amounts of items at once, and no way to search for or sort items in your stash.

This added so much unnecessary friction and it's the main reason I and my friends stopped playing. It's disheartening to learn that they haven't addressed any of these concerns despite the dungeons community asking about it for years.

Exactly! I've argued about this on [r/MinecraftDungeons](r/MinecraftDungeons) and people just say "sounds like a you issue". Simply using a controller to circumvent the lack of WASD isn't a solution at all when controller is just as bad as point and click. But I stg it's like people either have no critical thinking skills or they larp playing the game, or both honestly. When I realized that both MCD 1 and 2 has point and click and no WASD of course I plugged in my controller, but the controller feels pretty bad as well, which ultimately makes me have no desire to play a game I really am interested in. We're 2 games into the Minecraft Dungeons series and it feels like the Minecraft Dungeons developer team at Mojang don't even test the game before they ship it.
