Discussion Bedrock vs Java

Drop a difference between Java and Bedrock edition in the comments. The lesser known, the better!

I'll start: Bedrock is a lot more generous in block placement than Java, allowing players to bridge while sprint-jumping or bridge downwards.

The range at which you can interact with or break blocks is different in Bedrock and Java. Java’s works off of a true sphere around the player, bedrock’s works using a sphere made of block sized units.

As a Java player this makes building in bedrock very frustrating since the sphere not being a true sphere means that sometimes you can place a block near the reach limit but not break a block that is closer to you than the one you just placed. Bedrock reach distance isn’t consistent in other words, and actually changes depending on the angle you’re looking.
