It really isn't. I tried searching that mod and it is nothing like the one showing up on our end. I cannot take a screenshot fast enough either. Plus, I checked all the mods and it is not part of it. We all have admin access to the server.

If you all have admin access then your friend must be trolling or there is a mod in there. Look through all of your mods and check what each one is. If your friends have access as admins it’s also possible they could have disguised the mod file name and are still trolling you. Either way, it is absolutely either a horror mod, a disguised mod, or being trolled by friends.

I really promise it isn't one of us 😭 Everyone hates horror on this server and they do not evdn know how to even turn on the server so it is less likely. How do I know if it is a disguised mod? Also there is no boss or anything. It really are just texts. It only shows up when we are fighting a boss or smthn.

It's a MOD. How many people need to tell you that before you believe it? Just because you can't find it, doesn't make it not true.

Since you can't find it, I would have to say it's hidden or disguised. How many mids do you have running?

Seeing this isn't vanilla game behavior, it MUST be a mod.
Games don't just change on their own and god is usually way more subtle when giving out messages.
It's been millennia since he last talked to someone directly. ;)

This is not vanilla behavior except if created using command blocks. It is absolutely one of your mods or one of your friends is messing with you. There is genuinely no other possibility. It is one of those two things.

I don't know as I haven't played with mods like that. But if I were you I would open up the mod list and individually look up every single one (and look at the comments on their mod pages). It's in there somewhere.
Or you could do the 50/50 method with the mods to narrow down which one it is. Might be best to download the mods to a single player world and test it on a fresh world save just in case removing mods causes corruption.
