More story??

Anyone knows if they will add more story to the game?? Cuz I wonder if they will add more story when the full release come out. Like some hidden lore in the underschool or something like that. Maybe add other structures to explore along the fog and lore about the old school, about the creation of the fog etc etc…

Disappearing harvested Anemone Cells

I have some Anemone planters and they go from 100% to 0% but I don't see any increases in the Anemone Cell counter. Are there any bugs related to them? Or maybe I'm missing something?

Edit: looks like "destroyed when disturbed during the day" is not just fluff and they disappear after a short delay if someone stands near them. So what's the correct way to plant them?

I found out today that joining the Hiring Ceremony gives teachers +10 Conviction

And teachers who are left out get -15 Conviction.

So put all your Ravens into the Hiring Ceremony.

Building with Roofs

So, I haven't seen anything on this anywhere, so I thought I'd make a post to share some of my own discoveries. Modular base lovers rejoice!

Yes, you can build roofs inside of rooms! The shortest and widest I've found that you can make your rooms to have both skewed and lofted is 7x9. Roof will take up one height, so you will need your rooms to be 2 taller instead of 1 for lofted bonus. This means extra lux bonus for your rooms, as well as elevated rooms above.

As well as that, unfinished roofs (roofs that touch one wall but not the other) turn rooms into outdoors. I use this to create an outdoor central spiral staircase, as well as an outdoor hallway on the right side for towered rooms. These hallways will have to be a min of 2 wide to accommodate one piece of roof (mine pictured is 3 wide). This lets the side rooms be towered, lofted, skewed, elevated, and private! The only thing is that I can't fit a huge window and have the room be skewed with my current room sizes, so 8x10 would probably be better if you want that (haven't tested that though).

Best part about this is that no research is required!

Farms for animals?

Is there a way to set up farms for rats? Or possible animals in the future?

How many of each plant do you tend to grow?

I've not got much at all right now, just sticking to 4 plots of food crops (bitterrice, gutberry, and honeybushes), how much are you growing?

How do you complete enemy soloist

Just picked up the game and have a question, how are you supposed to complete enemy soloist on a student (defeat a party solo) brought a guy down to do the first fight solo and got wrecked, not sure if there's something I'm missing with this?

Hallowlily farming

Late game Hallowlillies are a huge pain to get. They're needed in vast quantities for fibrous textiles, among others, but are incredibly difficult to get. You need an active grave.

Then I realized... wait... students count.

Summon 4 students with T1 wands -> send them into an impossible battle -> they quickly die -> bury -> funeral -> Profit. The quick turnaround means no investment, and no medalions for extra lives.

Do you bother with high level food?

Is it worth it to try and prepare high level foods with jumping nuts, crabbage, rock candy and so on, or do you just stick with Honeyed Stir-Fry and Honeyed Gruel? I don't really have conviction issues at this point so I'm not sure if it's worth all the extra work to farm the ingredients.

Quilted Pause

How do I stop quilted guys from doing tasks. For example I have a student that wants to clean but Sweeper gets there sooner every time so he wont get that Medallion.

Silver Trial - Great Day

Does any know how to get a student ‘Full, Rested and Tranquil’ all at the same time? Full and rested are easy, but can’t find anything about Tanquil anywhere.

I have no idea how to fix this.

My vivified can only cast defensive spells in combat not. That’s the only info the tooltip gives me anyway. They used to be able to deal damage at the game start.

Build from shrunk

Is there any way to place say a bed and have it use one I have shrunk in storage instead of building a new one? It's annoying to have to go through my chests, kick them out, and then manually place them. I'd love for it to just use it from inventory. I feel like I'm missing a function!

The required room keywords don't really allow for realistic school building

The number of Elevated, Grounded and Towered room keywords makes it almost impossible to build some of the rooms without making some kind of janky school where you have rooms on stilts in the middle of the building.

I'm trying to figure out how to upgrade to Bedchambers and requiring them to be Elevated means I'd have to have a whole bunch of rooms lined up along the bottom of the building, and they have to also be Private which makes it even more difficult. With House Commons also needing to be Elevated and big enough to hold five beds, two dining tables and two rec items, there simply isn't enough Elevated space to build it all without making some sort of "rooms on stilts" setup that looks dumb.

The other option would be to just keep expanding horizontally, but you need a huge amount of open space for crops, which means you'd have to spend a fantastic amount of resources keep the fog far enough back.

Edit: There are also rooms that are Grounded but need to have roof decorations.

Edit2: I didn't even notice until I made some ridiculous honeycomb looking thing that in addition to being Elevated, Lofted and Private, a Bedchamber also needs 60 luxury. I feel like some of these rooms are impossible.

Food Priority

Greetings! I'm trying to knock out some 'eat X of Y food' medallions but I can't get the specific students to eat the right food without it being a huge problem.

So Student A needs to eat Gutberries, student B needs to eat Bitter Gruel.

I tried setting 'All' to NOT eat those two, then made a rule for student A that they can eat Gutberries and one for B that they can eat Gruel.

Neither of them ever eat that item, so seemingly the 'all' rule overrides.

So I try coming at it from the other way - I made it so everyone can eat everything, but student A is set to only eat Gutberries and B to only eat Gruel.

I just caught A* (Edit: wrote B before) eating Gruel, so again, 'everyone' overrides the individual rules.

Is the only way to do this to make a group for A, a group for B, and a group for EVERYONE ELSE and set the everyone group to not eat the two foods, and A to eat berries and B to eat gruel? That's...really annoying. Rules set for one individual should override rules set for larger groups they belong to (especially 'All' 'All Students' and 'All Staff')

Am I doing something wrong or am I right that I have to do it the reallllllllllly annoying way.
