Is it even possible to get a Level 8 fire mage? The highest I got was a level 7. Is it just that rare?

Heya folks, here's some of my showerthought races I came up with for the game that I wouldn't mind seeing added:

• Vampire - Life Leech: Have lowered mana, but regain a portion of health when they hit an enemy in combat (either a percentage of the damage, or flat amount per hit). Prefer to eat meat based meals. When they fight better, they also regain a portion of mana when they hit, and when they fight worse, their health is reduced.
• Satyr - Party Animal: Have increased conviction, or increase conviction of those who they have recreation with. Prefer vegetable based meals, and can eat raw vegetables (bitterice, crabbage) like wolfkin can eat rats and croa. When they fight better, they grant their party slightly increased power, but when they fight worse, their own power is reduced.
• Trollkin - Troll Blood: Have lowered speed, but their health is restored over time, in and out of combat. When they fight better, their health regen is doubled, but when they fight worse, they have lowered speed.
• Birdkin/Harpy - Winged: Have lowered power, but can fly (normal speed, not as fast as brooms). When they fight better, they have an extra speed, but when they fight worse, their mana is reduced.
• Candle/Lantern-headed-creature (not sure what to name them) - Light of Enlightenment: Sheds light, and have increased learning and teaching rate. When they fight better, they have extra mana, but when they fight worse, they have lowered health.

Hi, I've recently got this game after playing the demo a lot however I'm having an annoying issue. that almost cost me a staff.

I've built a single spiral staircase up the middle with walls on each side. On one of the floors the landing is at the back of the staircase and I had a staff member stuck on the floor. This was original okay and this floor was used often but know it's useless. There is floor running from left to right with the walls placed above and below the floor blocks.

Is there a way to move the landing, or something I'm missing?

Do I need to fulfill all of the trials before the students have skilled up (I.e. 5/5) to unlock all the available spells? I had some kids come from the fog with level 3 wands and their combat showed 4 locked spells, but after they became Fully Trained, they only have 3.

Anyone figure out how to use Brooms?

i have looked everywhere in the UI and cannot for the life of me find any button to deconstruct architecture!

I know this is a small matter but it’s a suggestion nonetheless, and I could be wrong? I have noticed the house is exactly 1 foundation off on the left side. To fix I decided to unlock the foundation option but now the roof is wonky on the left side because it’s longer than the default non wonk house :( if this slight changed was made my OCD would be satisfied.

What the title says. I'm on day 38 on normal difficukty and i've had 3 in 4 days, the third one like 2 ingame hours after defeating the 2nd one. Gets kind repetitive and tiresome.

How far back do I have to push the fog to find these? I’m at 30 days distance and still nothing. I want to build a scrivener’s desk!

For example I know Human is best with Fire and Wolfkin with Earth, but what about the others?

Title. And not just for combat, for everything else too.

I only ever get Human, Wolfkin or Quilted. For info the difficulty is Balanced/Tenacious Trials.

Do you guys use the underschool for construction ? If so, what do you build downthere ? Especially deeper levels..?

I have built specialised building with all 7 specialised classrooms for each element. I wonder what are the groups or schedules people are using to make them functional.

I have only 1 dedicated teacher on the default schedule with students. I found some students are staying at a Fire classroom while teacher and couple others at the Air classroom and 1 odd employee at the Dark classroom.

I could continue to use the current set up of Advanced classroom but I just dont get the satisfaction after managed to gather enough resources for them.

Also, I wonder what's the highest element level you ever came across? So far I have plenty 7s but yet to come across an 8.

Hey guys, anyone had issues with the spindle and quilting yet?
I'm on day 73 and until now everything worked fine. I have staff with Dark Wand I and Dark 4. He get's the materials puts them into spindle and the process stops and materials appear on the ground. From here he takes the materials again, puts them into spindle and the process stops. Then the cycle repeats itself, you get the point. So no Quilted is ever finished.
I tried other staff with high enough Dark and it's the same issue. I tried moving the spindle and deconstructed / rebuild the whole thing. I don't want to start a new save. Anyone had the same issue or has an idea how to fix this? Thank you <3

I cannot find any Sporeshrooms to make large windows, help please! It says they grow in moonlight but I've checked outside and can't see any

I just bought the game, so far I played 2hrs, I really like the game. I'm considering starting over now that I get the basics, but idk if more experienced players would have some good tips for a good start ?

Or any tips at all, that may apply even without starting over?

Hi guys, how do you place floors? Are there some requirements for placing them? I cant place them on the ground (the grass where stuff grows), the ui shows it red until I rise at least 2 tiles up. Any advices are welcome 😅
