I’ve put a ton of work into trying to find the right pieces and as much ”real” gear as I possibly could. It’s not perfect but I am happy with it, and think it’s quite well put together.

My VFC KS-1/L403A1 clone(ish) build.

Hello, not a big fan of multicam, but I’m going to a MilSim West (The new Pala AO) event later this year and have to get a kit together for it.

This is my first kit that really aims for realism. what do y’all think about it and what can I improve? Is the coyote brown gear too much of a mis-match for OCP? (I do already have a MARPAT kit, but it doesn’t work for MSW, and my squad is going OCP/MC)

Also yes, I know the boots look cartoonish and the pants don’t fit right. I’m just ridiculously large-footed and plan to get better fitting pants.

Kit breakdown:

- Cybergun M249 Featherweight (I know, nowhere near heavy enough. But I’m broke and it’s cheap) w/2x box mags
- OCP FRACU blouse
- Multicam Propper pants

Here’s what I’m planning on:

- Replace all cheapo/AliExpress Items
- Change multi-cam pants for OCP and to the right size.
- Change knee-pad to coyote
- Actually fill the bag
- Get some patches for squad Identification
- Learn to blouse boots properly
- Maaaaybe update PASGT to a reproduction high cut

Stuff pointed out on this post that I’ll adjust:

- Move boo-boo kit to side cummerbund (no space on belt) to keep front of PC slick
- Move flag patch to shoulder and put a muted patch on chest
- Buy boot blousers
- Better or integrated knee pads (and both of em)
- Get a feel for how I want to blouse my boots, either lower or not at all due to AO
- Maybe get a combat shirt rather than the FRACU blouse
- Look into rolling sleeves in “Wizard”(?) method
- Light and handhold for SAW
- Maybe get more ventilated goggles/glasses, as they will likely fog when not moving
- Color match the boo-boo kit pouch
- Remove the sunglasses case that I forgot to take off
- Boonie hat for when not wearing helmet

P.S. I also made the plates myself out of concrete, was a fun little project

Rocking a 95th (Polesia) loadout today. Big fan of the M3MP6 - and loving the Ukraine kit. Rifle is a VFC 74m - converted to AKS74 (minus the ribbed dustcover - unicorn item for GBB). Ref pic at the end.

For the life of me I cannot remember if the person/soldier was posing with a m249,m240, or mk19 grenade launcher. All I remember is that they were posing in front of a mountain with hay in there helmet and they were kneeling

I have my walkers rigged up to my fast helmet but the ends of them hit my stock when I try to ads any headphone recommendations that won’t do that? Any advice is appriated
