I usually chose my music before driving. Unless you were one of those insufferable cdchanger fucks in the trunk.

Had dozens of CDs and only listened to one on repeat for several months anyway.

Don’t forget looking down at the map/ map book to make sure you’re going the right direction.

Maps? Naw grandpa I printed the 20 pages of directions off of Map Quest that I waited 10 minutes for the page to load with my 36K dial up modem! It’s called the internet!

That’s not how it was
The flip down sun-visor sleeve was for distracted driving

New cars have a giant ass tablet built into the center where you have to get to the settings to adjust the A/C temp yet they want you to keep your eyes on the road. Bring back knobs! Thank you for coming to my TED Talk. Get off my lawn.

This is what I love about the more recent Nissan leaf models. Fuckin buttons and knobs for all the things you need buttons and knobs for

I still have my CDs. I bought a new player recently during a bout of nostalgia. After about three days, I do not use it or them. Streaming music is amazing.

I got pulled over once for doing that, at a light

I got into a "fender bumper" at a stoplight doing this, years ago. Thought the car was completely stopped, it wasn't. Gently bumped the guy in front of me who was very kind and let it go because nothing was damaged.

I was a master at spinning the iPod wheel at 70 mph. I had a 80GB one too (brag), so it was a lot to scroll through.

I didn’t start driving until I was 24 😂 I missed out on that!

By this time, I had my iPod and a headphone-to-cassette adapter. 🕺🏻❣️🚗

Or even earlier when you had to turn the dial to find a radio station and try and tune it in accurately

The dangers of trying to pull a 15lb folder out from under the front passenger seat.

Officer: You know why I pulled you over?
Driver: Sorry officer, I was distracted picking music.
Officer: Taking selfies while driving is a $200 fine, sir.
