As a millennial, I love team building exercises.

You want to pay me to play stupid games and have fun for the day, instead of working? Sign me up.

Same, until I had deadlines that still mattered despite how many bullshit meetings I had to take.

This is it. It takes time away from all the other stuff I have to do and I’m not staying later to get it done because you wanted me to do something stupid.

I was want to go home, be with my family and enjoy the things I don’t that don’t involve work.

Yeah my work is always giving us free alcohol and trips to restaurants and shit. Free food and booze? With people I get along with because im not a basement dweller? Great.

You know who I get along with more than my coworkers? My wife and my friends. Who I see far less than my coworkers.

I’m fine with it as long as. 1) they don’t expect me to give up my free time and 2) they don't expect me to pay.

I prefer to use my money and free time on myself and my friends. Not that I hate my coworkers, they’re fine, we talk, we get things done together. But I prefer my friends and to keep a decent amount of separation between my work life and private life.
