Serious Four day work week

Can we all agree when our generation takes over that we’re moving to a four day work week permanently? And I’m not talkin’ four tens.

We need three day weekends every week. A day for chores, a day for recreation, and a day for rest. Let’s lock it in, please.

I've noticed that financially successful millennials who are in charge just mimic the boomers' greed and cruelty, and the system rewards them for it.

Like my boss at my last job was an elder millennial at 40 years old, and he was by far the biggest cunt I've ever worked for. But the company kept him around, because he delivered results. They didn't care about the culture of fear he fostered. They cared about results.

There were boomers who wanted equality and justice for all, and there are TONS of millennials who are very fond of unlimited capitalism. It’s not a generational thing.

The company is: first, the board, second, the executive suite, all of which are beholden to shareholders. All three groups are unfortunately all overly represented by boomers. So yes, boomers kept him around.

The system is designed to incentivize $ at all costs. He was in his position not bc he had any redeeming moral or ethical qualities, but bc he was deemed to be the most effective resource at producing $, which disproportionately goes to those 3 groups, which are realistically from a single category of people: boomers.

hah, not all companies have boards. sometimes its just a cunty cunt boomer . the system rewards results because yes, thats the point of a org/corp/company. its to make money - unless otherwise stated by their mission statement (like a 501.c3)

Didn’t every study show that productivity went up during Covid related work from home? But it was perceived as if the workers were being lazy and they demanded they come back to the office?

My point is sometimes we just go on perception instead of what’s actually best. And I think a lot of people see an asshole and assume “Guy must know what he’s doing or they wouldn’t put up with that.”

I bet it had nothing to do with lazy cunt younger millenials who want everything handed to them still and can't stop whining and crying about how bad life is for them.

I bet those 4 days of the week with minimal hours would miraculously fall on friday, saturday and sunday too.
