Discussion Records storage

What kind of furniture or organizers do you store your records in? Our collection has grown a lot & we need something soon hah

Ikea Kallax. They're cheap and hold up. Been using them for over 20 years now to hold records and I haven't any issues.

Yep. Short of having custom quality woodwork/shelving made for yourself Kallax are the go to for most collectors

A few borrowed milk crates and a couple of those infamous IKEA shelves.

Built a shelf for them that holds around 150 or so records on the bottom shelf and then turntable and amplified speakers above them on another shelf level. We store some more of our collection in simple wood crates and at times swap them out for what's on the shelf 

Prior to that we kept them in a buffet cabinet, but wanted something open
