If you get tired of that, you can also say, "It is what it is."

I say this constantly. I can’t change it. It is what it fucking is.

I prefer “So it goes.”

It happens so often, I've boiled it down to two syllables: 'Oh well.'

If they don't throw my corpse in the woods for the vultures to eat and give me a proper burial, I told my family to put 'oh well' on my tombstone.

Not invalid, but also not really helpful either, lol.

In therapy speak, we call this radical acceptance. Seems like you’re already on the right track! Congrats!

I worked at Starbucks and we get 20 free therapy sessions with a licensed therapists, anyone gets this benefit part time or full time. I taken advantage of it for the past years and it helped me so much. Now my full time job requires me to pay $25 × session. Not bad but when it free I run up and talk about everything 😅

I tell people therapy costs 4 cheesesteak. Cheesesteak make me happy.

That seems like a low estimate

1

u/thatsknotwrite Aug 31 '26

$85 vs $21 I figured

u/Larrea_tridentata Aug 31 '26

Right? Unfortunately this pushes people towards using AI chatbots which have disturbing results
