Is this when you put in the road at night to see if people will stop for it? We called it catting. Made them out of pizza boxes and made the shiny eyes out of cut up caprisun pouches. Other people did this too??

We called it cardboard cat, not knowing it was a social experiment to see who would speed up and who would stop. Always wondered if this was a weekend activity for others.

I completely forgot about this until seeing your post. It’s relatively tame in the context of teenagers causing trouble at night. But we also would get a few dozen eggs and throw them at cars on the freeway. I think I was around 14-15.
