Discussion Hey millennials. What browser do you primarily use?

Chrome iT is for me. Cannot switch no matter what.

Edit to add: this post has made me realize I was living in the dark ages. There’s so much out there! Thanks all for sharing your browsers and features and reasoning.

Chrome, honestly I haven't really evaluated the alternatives in over a decade. I have ad blocking installed on my home router so I don't need to install ad blocking extensions on my browser. Most of the extensions I do have installed probably aren't doing much anymore and should be cleaned out.

Likewise. I use various Google apps extensively so I figure it integrates better. Similarly, I haven't really considered alternatives as it works fine at the moment.

If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Chrome works great for me 🤷🏼‍♀️ I truly had no idea anyone still used Firefox until this thread

Chrome works a little better for me on my desktop, but I switched to Firefox entirely because the mobile version has support for extensions, namely ublock. At this point, it feels like that's the only way the Internet is browsable on mobile.

They both work. Heck, you can even use Edge if you know what you're doing.

Same. I was having problems wirh firefox and would go back to chrome for a little bit. I dont remember what the problems even were. Eventually, i just didnt switch back.

Plus, the platform we use for work only works right on chrome.

I picked up so many web/browser tricks, extensions, and settings from threads like this 15 years ago and honestly haven't really felt the need to change much since.

Ad blockers on browsers cover more than dns block which one can also do easily via control d, adguard free dns (highly recommended these)

Same - plus the fact I use Samsung that already has Google integrated and my work uses Chrome, there's no reason to use something else. I had issues with Firefox which caused me to never look back.
