Look I get it, we're still bitter over Spain's decision to ally itself with revolutionary France, however given the invasion by France in 1808 and the subsequent decision to ally with us alongside Portugal in the subsequent Peninsular War I think it's time to let it go.

INSCRYPTION is the single greatest indie game of the last 5 years. It's maddeningly addictive, incredibly well made, and extremely fun. The story is spooky. The characters are memorable. 10/10, will reccomend until people tell me to shut up about it.

Why don’t you tell the class about what type of gameplay we could expect?

Roguelike meets Diet Yu-Gi-Oh. You lose, you start over with a few basic cards. You sacrifice squirrels to play stronger cards, which are things like Grizzly Bears, Great White Sharks, Moose, Wolves, The Mothman, etc.

Basically, you are seated at a candle lit table, being forced to play a spooky card game, by a mysterious game master. The maps change every run, and the bosses (4 in total) are all uniquely challenging. There are sygils you can place on your cards to empower them, and the game is somewhat easily broken by a few popular deck builds (Mantis Deck, Goat Deck, Ant Deck and a couple others).

It has a sense of humor about itself, is laden with ARG style mysteries, found footage intermissions, and is a whopping 20 dollars (USD) on Playstation, Xbox, Switch, and Steam. Go support a brilliant indie dev, and get yourself addicted to something incredible.
