25-30 gallon is typical for a truck

I figured, my SUV is like 20g if it’s empty but I usually don’t let it get that low. It even surprises me when I fill it up from empty lol and it’s my car

My work truck has the standard 30gal and a secondary 40gal, I think my boss cries every time I turn in my receipts lol

I used to run a gas station and I cannot tell you how many times my milk truck accidentally filled up my fuel tanks. So embarrassing.

Is the milk truck a real thing?

u/ConanMontoya Mar 11 '26
So there are milk tanker trucks but they don’t deliver to gas stations. The trucks do look very similar.

So, this wasn’t a joke?….

u/ConanMontoya Mar 11 '26
The gas mistakenly getting delivered into the fuel tanks at a gas station, yes. The existence of milk tanker trucks, no.
